Hey everyone! Here’s some helpful information to keep your pets safe during this summer heat 🐾🐾
🦴 Try to keep walks early or late (when coolest) and when the humidity it low! If it’s hard for us to exist in the heat/humidity, it’s harder for them!
🦴 Before walks, place the back of your hand on the concrete. If it’s too hot after 5 seconds, reschedule your walk! Their poor pads will burn if not. (REMEMBER: dogs “breathe” through their pads)
🦴 Take some breaks in the shade on walks!
🦴 To help cool your pup down after a walk, let them lay on a cool (not cold) and wet towel and get their feet wet.
If you need any help with them or any other pets, let me know! I would absolutely love to help 🐾🐾
