She’s got some lungs on her 😏😫

Almost 2 weeks old! Some eyes are open and we’ve got a couple full four legged walkers 💙

The awesome thing about having an established pack when you have a litter of puppies is that all the dogs can participate in teaching the babies “doggie manners”. Rain is showing Jupiter how to be submissive (the goal is to get the puppy to their back without struggle) vs wild and unruly. All the pups have gotten this life lesson…mostly from momma, but it’s so interesting to watch the dynamics of a pack play out. Notice Rain mouthing her head as a way to say “no,no” and then a few licks in the ear as a way to say “good job, you’re doing great!” Life lessons don’t always go this smoothly, but it’s a great example of the things going on around here to get the babies ready for the real world.

I created MONSTERS I tell ya! They get a few hours a day to roam around the house and this is how they act when I put them back in their pen. Like babies going to the crib for nap time. Side note!! Everyone is healthy and (mostly) happy. Babies are only a few short weeks from meeting their forever families. We are going to be so sad…they are so fun right now! Crate training begins this week. Pray for me 🤪 Even though it sounds like they are being tortured…no puppies were harmed in the filming of this video 😉

Sea legs and puppy squeals

Pups are 8 weeks old this week. Going home day is coming fast! They woke up today and chose violence 🤣😬Nearly everyone of them has an attitude this morning. Even my sweet snuggly ones are chewing on each other like a ribeye. Poor max is so patient and good with them…but Mama isn’t having it. “Don’t make me come over there…that’s it…enough is enough” The babies got the picture quick!

Growing fast!

Things are moving fast over here. Off the puppy gruel and onto soft food! They are so smart…and SO HUNGRY 😋

So many things going on here. Watch for the acrobatics at the end 🤣
