Two Desert Death Adders (Acanthophis pyrrhus) to go, experienced keepers only. Female 1 (on newspaper in pics) feeds well on velvet mice from tongs. A couple of very late arrivals. I expect the wellsi to be done dropping young by the end of May and the females are cooled in June. This female wasn't obviously pregnant and was cooled with the rest likely resulting in only the two live born neonates and five still born. Pairing is the aberrant male over a red mainland female.
