Sidon

Our most recent betta in our first aquascape tank.
Sidon is from a LFS, he was listed as a premium rose tail, the most expensive betta they sell there. We have noticed at our LFS bettas are not popular, especially the more expensive ones. He was being sold in those classic plastic cups, and being the only one there, we couldn’t leave him sitting in that cup waiting to be the last betta picked, or worse, die from disease.
Sidon still has a lot of growing to do and we are very excited to see his potential in a healthy tank.
He currently lives with 4 shrimp and 2 snails.
He has been a champion eater and very curious and social.

Ferb finally making an appearance after his first molt as part of our family.
Ferb is a marble crayfish, one of the smaller species.
He is a rescue from a previous owner, we have had him for almost a month, and have only seen him out about 4 times, so it’s very exciting when he comes out!
He currently lives in a community tank with a female betta, and 4 small platies
We found that since adding these fish, he has been coming out a lot more, we have even caught our female betta cuddling up next to him!
