VOLUNTEERS needed!

We are growing and looking for adoption and foster volunteer coordinators to join our dog rescue team!

We are both a US charity and a NS non profit.

These roles do require daily commitment and communication.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Responding to inquiries on messenger daily

Coordinating adoptions between the rescue & applicant
Or
Coordinating foster homes placement between the rescue & the foster parent.

Transport support appreciated but not required

Maintaining adopter information on a shared spreadsheet

Did you know we are a foster based rescue? We MUST have a foster in place for EVERY dog we save.
The pleas for help never stop and we have no additional fosters at this time.

“I'm so tired of my heart breaking. Telling people daily I can't help is crushing. Not because of the people but because I know the fate of the pup. It will be dumped or worse. I'm beyond exhausted trying to find space for pups and begging to get vetting covered. I work 7 days a week. I do it because they didn't ask to be neglected and left for dead. People don't understand and I guarantee everyone gets tired of me begging. Trust me I get tired of doing it! I don't know how to explain to dogs that I don't have space for them, I can't turn away. They have given up on humanity! They are broken! My heart needs to put that light back in them! I need to see their tails wag. I need to see them excited to see me!”

Meet Willow!

3-4 yr old Boxer Pit mix.
She is super sweet

Willow is heartworm negative
No cats for her and she is dog selective so we recommend she be an only pet!

Warms up quick to her female humans but takes a bit longer for men.

Her adoption fee is $660 which includes spay, UTD on vaccines and transport to Saint John NB or Amherst NS (PEI during Covid with a small additional fee possible)
