A great method of feeding your dog their meal would involve treat toys, puzzles, and interactive toys like the Kong Wobbler displayed in this video. This is great for mental stimulation, keeps your dog thinking and moving. This in itself poses great effects to the brain! Yes something as simple as this!! This can tire your dog, help your dog get those gears turning when they need to solve a problem (just like in training!), and make life simply more enjoyable, and much more! Get creative and try some new methods of feeding your dog! Feel free to tag our page or post them in the comments below!🐶
Get those puppy costumes ready!! We will have a costume contest, all photos submitted will be posted and voted on, the winner gets a prize!
Working on distractions with Daphne! Was so proud of her on this one! Wildlife is a HUGE distraction for her. This was a big step for her!
Daphne zoomies before our session started!! 😂🐶🐾
Working on Place with Oliver! He’s doing pretty good! 😊 Adding distance and distraction!
Daphnes doing SO good!! Mind you, 5 weeks ago, she about dragged her owner down the driveway. Now look at them go!! Still need a little work with leash tension but aside from that, no pulling!!!!
Working on Sit/Stay with Oakley and her family! They are doing fantastic with her obedience training. Experts I tell you! 🐶🐾
Here Daphne and her mom starting some basic obedience work outdoors! They are doing fantastic! So proud of these two and the progress they’ve made! Can’t wait to see what we accomplish. Today was our first week working with her outdoors and I’m super confident in these two! Stay tuned to see what I have planned for next week with mrs Daphne!
Teaching Drop It
Here’s a basic overview of ”Drop It”! Have had a lot of people having issues on this one so I hope this helps! Feel free to comment if you have any questions (or send direct message) and like if you want to see more videos like this! 🐶🐾
This is a great example of how beneficial training can be for you AND your dog! I was actually recording Roxy and I messing around (I cut the video to the unplanned training exercise). Someone closed their car door right outside our front door and she thought someone had opened the door (we are still working on “quiet” and we live in an apartment complex so quiet is very important) and she started to bark, due to our training together and her love for it, I redirected her and she stopped barking. I released her and she went towards the door however I simply called her back and did some more training!
Daphnes third week of training! Look at her go! Absolutely perfect Sit/Stay!
Meet Daphne!! This is the beginning of our first session, explaining Focus. She did fantastic!
Talking buttons! Zoey is now an expert.. definitely convenient for dog owners if taught how to be used properly! My pups enjoy these, this was zoeys 3rd time hitting the button. Great communication tool if the dog fully understands what they mean. This one was playtime if you couldn’t hear.
Definitely recommend!
Still working on client videos but here’s one of my lovely Zoey! She loves to give paw🐾💕
Koda Update:
Koda is doing great at Place! We are still working on having his whole body on his place but I’ll take it! We practiced cuing him to Place and he did great! So proud of Koda and his pet parent for working so hard!
We are still adding distractions indoors to his known cues but he is struggling a bit with this depending on what we are asking of him, but he is still improving! His leash walking is going good as well!
Next week we will continue to work on these things as well as how he greets new people🐾
Butters update:
Butters is doing amazing and we are only on week 2! Can’t wait to see what this handsome boy is capable of!
As you can see he is doing great with Leave It, I placed the treat on my knee right in front of him and he left it alone AND gave me a Focus! He is also doing well with Place. He’s doing better with his Sit/Stay and Focus, along with adding distractions to his cues and waiting to be Released!🐶🐾
