Thank you to BarkBox. We had a Great toy distribution today!! We didn’t hide them like Easter eggs around the warehouse as Maredith suggested but we had a similar method. They were scattered in hundreds of boxes on dozens of pallets. You won’t believe it but we hardly made a dent in the “stash”. So our approved animal rescue groups will have a toy grab opportunity again in the near future! Enrichment items like this are so important to their pets! We are so blessed to be a part of the Greater Good Charities family !

Great donation distribution yesterday! Thank you to Greater Good Charities and ORIJEN Dog and Cat Food for feeding hundreds of rescued dogs and cats in Oklahoma! We had a couple of four legged sweethearts helping us. Tilly our mascot, dressed like a clown and an adorable little fellow, Arlo, from Low Rider dachshund rescue. (BTW he has an adoptive family already chosen). 33 Approved rescue groups shared in this great dog food donation.

Tickle-Toe Acres is honored to introduce our esteemed and celebrated sanctuary resident, Dr. Simon Bartholomew. After obtaining his PhD in Feline Philosophy, Dr. Simon retired at the young age of 15 and pursued his hobbies. When he isn't flexing his skills as a Grand Master chess champion or practicing his elite Parkour moves, he attends tasting events where he has quickly become a highly sought after critic. We were able to capture Dr. Simon at a recent tasting event where, as the photos reveal, he highly approved of the entree set before him. In a brief interview, Dr. Simon stated the following, "I find the Fancy Feast Gems to be full of flavor and highly appetizing. 10/10 would recommend." Thank you, Greater Good Charities and Purina Fancy Feast, for the Fancy Feast Gems! Dr. Simon Bartholomew and the other 29 kitties appreciate you!

We recently received a great donation from Purina through the Greater Good Charities. Here is what Shauna from Tickle-Toe Acres wrote about it:
Just before the cold of winter began, a stray momma kitty appeared at Tickle-Toe Acres. We don't know where she came from, the struggles she faced, or the name of the angel that lead her to us. What we DID know was she was in active labor and was, without a doubt, very ill. Sweet momma kitty allowed us to bring her into the rescue, aid in the delivery of her babies and shortly thereafter passed away. It is in her honor we are raising her sons, Stanford and Princeton. These two Ivy League gentlemen are full of energy, curiosity and SO much love! They are a true treasure here at our rescue and have been able to make friends with even the grumpiest kitty here! Every moment spent with these little fur balls is special for so many reasons. Princeton and Stanford are elated with Purina's donation of wet kitty food and lil' gravies (hence the high-five and smiling face). The generosity of Purina is heart-warming and allows our rescue to nourish those in our care. Thank you, Purina!
