What a night we had at the ASTC Horse of the Year awards with two of our stable stars saluting for the judge 🏆🎉

Our much loved stable star FLYING START adding some more silverware to the cabinet by taking out both the 3yo and the overall Horse of the Year titles. So incredibly proud of this horse and all he continues to do for the stable and his connections.

Fantastic to see our fastest filly also rewarded for all her hard work, with Jessie Philpot taking out leading female jockey of the season 👏🏻 👏🏻

Huge thank you to our staff and our wonderful owners for all their support this season and onward. The Alice springs turf club for putting together a fantastic function for us all and of course Nikki for capturing every moment 📸

MILES PROWER tough and workmanlike as ever continued his run of good form in his last attempt with a loose horse thrown in for a bit of nail biting. Draws (3) today which should work to his benefit.

Race 4 Scope Building NT Handicap (1400M)

MORPHLING was disappointing last start over the 1600m but the inside draw (2) and drop back in distance should do her some favors this week. Hope to see her putting her best feet forward.

FLYING START what is there to say that hasn’t already been said. He’s proven that he’s more than competitive over this distance and has been in ripping form this preparation coming off an encouraging performance last start on the Darwin surface. He’s drawn (9) this week which given his running style should do him more benefit than harm. Stable jockey Jessie Philpot stays aboard.

ME CABO building towards another win after another bridesmaid finish last time out. He draws to do no work in the run from (2).

Race 4 First National Framptons Handicap

Race 5 CKS Electrical Maiden Plate

ABREHA the former Victorian galloper makes her debut for the stable from (1). The drop back to 1400 should suit her down to the ground after a nice run over 1600 at Cranbourne last start. Form and work suggest she will be competitive in this.

Race 6 Australian transit Group Handicap

MORPHLING was a much improved effort last start and looks to be knocking on the door for a much eluded win in winning company. The wide draw (9) should do her no harm and if she backs up from her last outing with similar effort, she should be right in this.

We’re racing at home base today with four runners lining up for the stable all with their chances to finish on top 🏇🏻💨

Race 1 Red Centre Technology Partners Handicap (0-70 1200)

MILES PROWER the ever consistent little rocket has drawn slightly sticky in (5) but his great association with stable jockey Jess Philpot should help reduce some of that stick!

RADIO ROOM first up after a spell, he’s shown in the past that he can be a force to be reckoned with when fresh over a shorter trip. He draws the rail with leading NT jockey Jarrod Todd on board.

Race 2 JJ’s Waste Handicap (0-58 1200)

ME CABO seems to be getting back to good form of late, placing in his last two starts. He should be getting close to winning another one after a bit of bad luck at Tennant Creek landed him in the bridesmaid’s stall last start. Jess Philpot aboard.

Race 3 IMPARJA Handicap (0-58 1200)

MORPHLING yet to find her best form against winnning company, but if her work and behaviour at home is anything to go by she’s definitely due for some improvement in this. She draws sticky in (9) so we’ll leave it to Jarrod to contend with that!

Intercontinental made it two in a row after jumping fast from the barriers to get to the fence from a wide draw and win by 4.3L
