This is the perfect event for enthusiasts and professionals to buy, sell, trade, learn about and discuss reptiles of all kinds.

With dozens of vendors traveling from all over the region, bringing thousands of animals, you'll find everything from snakes and lizards to turtles, frogs, and much more. In addition to live animals, the expo features top-quality reptile supplies, cages, feeders, artwork and accessories. Experts will be on hand to answer your husbandry questions and provide reptile care tips.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to bring reptile lovers together, right here in our hometown. Species spotlight ‼️ Currently listed as critically endangered, the imperial woodpecker was last sighted in 1956. This bird once flourished throughout Mexico mountains. With heavy logging and industrialization, the imperial woodpecker was deemed a nuisance by logging companies since they poke holes in trees in a search for food. Because of this, people were encouraged to hunt and even poison these birds as an effort to increase profits. Due to this, many believe the imperial woodpecker to be extinct, another example of our willingness to sacrifice nature in the name of progress.

A close look at a custom 20 gallon long grow out tank for a baby corn snake. Fully bioactive with a 3-d background, lots of branches for lounging and two hides. Disclaimer ⚠️ it is a grow out tank, and 20 gallons is not an appropriate size for an adult corn snake, it will be upgraded as the snake grows. An adult corn snake can be anywhere from 4-5.5 ft and will ultimately need to be upgraded to at minimum 50-55 gallons. They’re very active and curious snakes that love having space to explore and climb. Having a smaller tank while the animals are small makes it easier to locate, monitor them and feed them. Species spotlight ‼️Once a common sight in Northern Pennsylvania, the Northern flying squirrel is now on the endangered species list in Pennsylvania. A recent study conducted in October of 2023 found only 33 left in the state. Sadly, this is due to the destruction of its habitat from the hands of logging, development, and poor forest management practices. Heavy logging of the also endangered Eastern Hemlock trees, which is the primary habitat for the flying squirrels, is one of the leading factors of their decline. The species finds itself backed into a corner by the logging industry, development and real estate, and other invasive competitor species.

What can you do to help? Reach out to local officials and make your voice heard on local land use issues and educate yourself on good forestry practices healthy forest not only benefit the biodiversity of the ecosystem but help us maintain clean air and abundant drinking water.
