What is a good daily routine for a ?
This includes eating, sleeping, going to the bathroom, and exercising or playing, all of which can be done on a schedule. Feeding, for example. Normally, you should feed a at least three times a day. Why are so busy?
Some have had to cut back on hours to accommodate the constant changes in their lives, which limits staff and in turn, decreases appointment availability. Others are working 40+ hour work weeks to cover absences and illnesses of co-workers.
A broad ask is for to have empathy for the person who answers the phone at your clinic.

Make Sure Your Pet is Healthy? See a short list below...
https://pinner.pet

1. Proper nutrition. Feeding your pet the right amount and type of food helps him maintain a healthy weight, which is one of the best ways to prevent obesity-related illnesses and extend his lifespan.

2. Exercise. Regular walks, hiking, playing fetch and swimming can keep your pet physically active and fit. But don’t forget about mental stimulation!

3. Regular checkups. An annual wellness exam provides the best opportunity for your veterinarian to perform a variety of health screens that can lead to early detection of diseases and to spot warning signs of serious illness.

4. Preventative medications. Taking preventative measures go hand in hand with regular veterinarian checkups. Preventative medications can keep your pet free of unwanted health issues, like heartworm, flea-related diseases and tick-borne illnesses.

5. Grooming. This involves keeping your pet’s nails trimmed, brushing him a couple times a week and giving him regular baths.

6. Affection. Establishing a strong bond with your dog or cat is good for both of you. Cuddles, petting, belly rubs and even brushing his coat are great ways to show your pet some love.

7. Socialization. According to the American Animal Hospital Association, “Early socialization [in dogs] and appropriate exposure to various people and situations at a young age decreases the odds of antisocial or fearfully aggressive behaviors as an adult.”

Dog owners warned of viral outbreak.
https://pinner.pet

Parvo is a highly contagious and possibly fatal virus for canines that can be spread through direct contact with an infected dog, or spread by a dog’s f***s from sniffing, direct contact or contact with soil contaminated by an infected dog’s f***s.

Parvo directly attacks the digestive system. Infected dogs will exhibit vomiting, diarrhea which may contain blood, loss of appetite and lethargy.

Puppies that are not yet vaccinated or have not completed a full series of vaccinations are at highest risk of catching Parvo, but it can still affect dogs off all ages.

“We do recommend vaccinating for Parvo, especially when the dogs are young,”
“The symptoms are being very depressed, vomiting, diarrhea and there’s a swab test that they can do at the vet clinic” to determine if the puppy has been infected.
“Vaccines are a huge blessing … now and again we might see a breakthrough but it’s a huge help to vaccinate.”

Pet owners concerned for their dog’s health are asked to isolate them from other dogs and call their veterinarian immediately for assistance and advice on what to do.

What are the signs of an inner ear infection?
The signs of otitis interna depend upon the severity and the extent of the infection. Some may show no outward signs at all, but you may notice your dog is reluctant to chew or seems to be in pain when opening his mouth. He may shake his head or paw at the affected ear.

Even pets who were used to an empty house before the pandemic are now used to someone being home, and are having a tough time adjusting to being alone again.
