We are in need of help with our rescue in Twin Falls. Do you love animals and want to make a difference?
We have a cat rescue. We feed in 3 locations daily. The route takes approximately 2 hours.

I met Deb about a year and 1/2 ago when she reached out to find a home for a FeLV positive kitten. I already had a couple of + cats so decided to help her out and ended up with two + kittens in the long run. I know with just these two kittens that she and Bill spent a lot of money on them with vet bills and doing everything they could to make sure the two had the best care to give them a chance for a healthy life. I know what a toll taking care of the colonies of cats has taken on them both financially and physically. I know their hearts must be broken to have to come to the decision that they can no longer continue to care for the cats. My heart hurts for them. If you have ever wondered if you could make a difference, now is the time to step up and help. Can you help care for a colony, even if it's dropping off food once a week or even sporadically, and feed them? Anything would help these cats who have grown use to being fed, to having food and water available to them. D & B has a lot of people that are on their page. If everyone committed to feeding cats even one time a month, these cats could continue to be cared for. Do you have a church group that would help or a child in boy scouts or girl scouts that needs a "project" and could help? Let's think outside the box and come up with a solution! We owe it to Deb and Bill and the cats that have already been abandoned and let down by humans in the past. I know there have been a few people that have helped provide food frequently and that have helped with feeding the cats. And for that D & B is grateful! But it takes a community to take care of its own. You are greatly needed! Jodi

Please share!!!!
We have made the difficult decision to walk away from our rescue and the colonies that we feed daily. Due to health and financial reasons, we are unable to continue. We would be willing to train, leave the beds, feeders, etc to anyone who may be interested in taking over. When we have these cats spayed / neutered, we have their ear tipped, so we know they’ve been done. That’s so helpful when trapping, so you can get those that haven’t been done yet. Our goal is to get them all done! But That takes a lot of time and money!

Meet Frankie and Johnny! These 2 Little’s are pretty scared right now, but they are slowly coming around. Johnny has an upper respiratory infection that he’s being treated for, but luckily everything else checks out. Having a loving foster home to heal in makes all the difference for these babies. Please consider fostering to save lives!

We spent the weekend trapping some babies to give them a new start in life! These kiddos have gone to their foster home until we can get them ready for adoption.

We have spent close to 3 months now working on getting Luke well. He’s doing so much better now, and he’s being slowly taken off his meds. The specialist he saw in Boise said sometimes they outgrow the respiratory issues he was having. We are hoping that Luke has done just that, so he can finally have his forever home. We have our fingers crossed, and we are sure hoping for the best for him. He’s been with us so long that it’s going to be very difficult to see him go. That’s one of the hardest parts of rescue is saying goodbye. 😢

This post is to honor our Stubby Boy! We recently found him, and he had passed away. We believe he may have been hit by a car.
Those of us that feed and care for these cats on a daily basis are so sad. We see the difficult life they live, and we are fortunate to have found loving humans like Terry, Gary, Tim, and Janet who truly love and care for these cats. We all devote our time and finances in an effort to make their life easier. When we lose one, it’s like losing a part of your family..
We will miss you, Stubby Boy!!

Urgent Plea!!
We are searching for cat supporters who can donate on a monthly basis to keep our cat rescue going. Can you commit to donating one or two cases of wet food, a bag or two of dry food, or a monetary donation every month??
Bill and I are being forced to make a very difficult decision which would be to walk away completely from several of the colonies we feed unless we can start getting committed supporters to donate monthly. It is very difficult for us to continue feeding, spaying, neutering, transporting, caring for sick cats and homeless kittens without help. It is truly taking a toll on us! After 4 plus years of carrying the load mostly by ourselves, we simply cannot continue.
We are thankful for those of you that have helped us. We deeply appreciate it. As you all know, we really love the cats and the thought of them going without is disturbing to us but we have to make a change. We hope and pray that we can count on you all for help.

FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Meet Cinder. She is 6 years old, spayed, and soon to be up to date on all of her vaccines. She is negative for FELV, FIV, and panleukopenia. Cinder is being treated for an upper respiratory infection , and she’s scheduled for a dental very soon. She is a little timid, but she is warming up quickly. She has a sweet disposition and enjoys having her head rubbed and attention. Something I don’t think she’s ever had!! ☹️We are out of space, and we are looking for a warm safe indoor home that can care for her until she can be adopted.
