Saffron 😍 She is getting bolder but is shy until she trusts you. Did I mention she has a slight anomaly with her tail? It goes to the left, possibly not an injury like I first thought, but sometime she's had from birth. It doesn't affect her running, playing and jumping though! 😉
Saffron
Sweet Saffron is doing really well and now has heaps of kitten energy, thanks to the amazing care she received at Vetlife! Her awesome vet Rachael treated her severe diarrhoea (likely a persisting result of her worms)and gave her a full health check. After a few days on medication, and with lots of TLC, Saffron is the picture of a happy, healthy kitten, and now putting on weight 💗 Despite her rough start to life in the wilds of Kaitorete Spit, Saffron has become a snuggly, sweet pet, and will be ready for adoption once she is vaccinated! Thank you Vetlife Pets for helping us save another life ❤️ 🐾
Happy International Cat Day!!! 🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛🖤🤎🩶🧡💛🤍 Here Luther (an x-wild cat) demonstrates his great recall skills 😅 We hope you're all enjoying your Kaitorete kittens and cats out there! ❤️
Gorgeous Frodo getting smoochy with his new family 💘 Frodo's Mum says that he's now super smoochy with the whole family, including the kids, and even visitors! Yay Frodo!!! 💙
Yet another case of a wild kitten making that transformation into an adorable pet 🐾🥰 Feral cats are not 'different' to your family cat (as so many organizations will have us believe) they are just scared and in survival mode... in fact, they could BE your next family pet, if you give them a chance 😉 And you'll never regret it
This little sweetheart is looking for a special home ❤️ He has a huge purr, loves being held, playing with his toys and food!! He's 4-5 months old, (small for his age) vaccinated, wormed and perfectly toilet trained! He will be neutered when he's a little bit older. If you're looking to adopt a kitten and want to support rescuing kittens in need, please contact us 🙏 🥰
❤️🖤 Heathcliff Transformation!!!❤️🖤
Heathcliff update 😁 So proud of this boy, he is now eating out of my hand and getting tamer every day!! My strategy for taming adult wilds (and kittens)is to keep them in a large dog crate, as this makes it easier to gradually handle them. I start with feeding them from a spoon and when they accept that I move to offering them wet food from my hand. You have to gauge this next step carefully, but I've never been bitten or scratched doing so 🥰 After that I work up to little face strokes while feeding them, and at some point (days or weeks) they will start to enjoy the pats... ❤️
Remember Haedi the blind kitten who was rescued from a possum trap in the winter?? Well we recently had her come and stay while her family went on holiday! She blew us away with how happy, healthy and confident she has become ❤️ Her mum has done a fantastic job and little Haedi has adjusted to life as a blind cat extremely well 🌟
Magnolia is still looking for her forever home 💗
Magnolia would SO love another kitten to play with!
