🚨 If your pet is microchipped with Save This Life and were to become lost, there is NO way for any shelter or veterinary hospital to find your information. You MUST register your pet’s microchip with a new company 🚨

What You Can Do:
✅ Check Your Pet’s Microchip Number: Your adoption contracts or medical record would have it or call your vet clinic to check with them.
✅ Scan the Chip: You can have your pet's microchip scanned at a veterinarian's office, animal shelter or by the Admins/Volunteers of this group.
✅ Identify the Chip: If the microchip number starts with 991 or 900164, it's likely from Save This Life.
✅ Look Up the Number: Use the AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool to see if your pet's microchip is registered with any active database.
✅ Re-Register the Microchip: If the chip was registered with Save This Life, promptly re-register it with another provider. Some reputable options include: AKC Reunite, PetLink, 24PetWatch, HomeAgain, Found Animals

The closure of a pet microchip company sparks confusion, but AAHA's microchip registry lookup tool can help.

UPDATE TO INTAKE POLICY
Effective February 1, 2025, Tiny Miracles Kitten Rescue (TMKR) will begin accepting intakes exclusively from local shelters. We will no longer be able to accept direct intakes from the public. Please direct all intake inquiries to your local animal control or animal shelter whom will contact us as needed. Local shelters have been emailed and mailed a detailed copy of TMKR's intake policy.

As the only neonatal kitten rescue in the region serving multiple counties, this change will allow TMKR to better support our local community and shelters - ensuring that no kittens are left on the streets. Additionally, directing all intakes through the appropriate shelters will provide more accurate data on issues such as hoarding, neglect, and colony management across our counties.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to working together to better serve our community.

We are excited to expand our team and are currently seeking dedicated individuals for three new volunteer positions: Social Media Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and Fundraising Coordinator.

While these roles are currently volunteer-based, we hope to transition them to paid positions in the future. If you're passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you!

Most tasks are completed remotely, allowing you to set your own schedule. On average, you can expect to spend 2-5 hours per week.

🥳 As we welcome the new year, we take a moment to reflect on the achievements of 2024 and all that we've been able to accomplish together.

Dolly is bewildered that she isn’t adopted by now! She’s so loving, playful, and EASY!
She wouldn’t do well with grabby toddlers or a loud, hectic home environment. But she’s flexible otherwise.
