I have over 7+ years working in veterinary medicine. Hi, my name is Justine and I'm the owner of McDaniel Pet Sitting Services NEFW & Surrounding Areas!
For those of you who know me, you know that caring for animals has been my biggest passion since I was a young child! In fact, I loved animals so much, I graduated Brown Mackie College in 2015 with an associate's degree in Veterinary Technology. I have over 7 years working in the veterinary field as an assistant and management positions. I have also done pet sitting sparingly over the years but ha
ve become more focused on growing my pet sitting business in 2021. Right now I currently own 4 cats and a Pitbull. I put vet assistant life on hold in 2019 when I gave birth to my first child. My husband and I actually collaborated together and worked as a team for the next year and a half, working with young adults who aged out of foster care. As much as I loved working with these young men and women, we decided to start a new chapter of our lives in May 2021. I decided to become a stay at home mom as I was pregnant and have since given birth to a sweet second child! Although I'm a busy mom now with 2 little one's, that hasn't stopped me from pursuing my passion of caring for pets. I provide drop in services for pet care, meaning that I am able to stop by your home to check in on your pets. I do not offer in home per care or boarding services out of my home. At this time I can only accept evening drop in visits M-F, however I am fully available during weekends. You may choose to book with me privately or through Rover. Requirements:
*Dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper vaccines
*Cats must be up to date on Rabies vaccines
(Proof will be required prior to booking)
*If you choose to book with me privately, I require a 50% deposit at the time of booking through PayPal, and the other 50%) once the booking is completed. Deposits will not be returned for any cancellations.
*You will be asked to give me information for emergency contacts as well as your preferred veterinarian incase of emergency
*Please give me notice ahead of time of any known allergies, medication, etc. Hours:
Monday-Friday 6p.m.- 8 p.m. Saturday & Sunday 8a.m. - 8 p.m. Services:
Base fee(30 minutes): $13 (per visit)
60 minute rate: +$7 (per visit)
Holiday rate: $20 (per visit)
-Holidays include: New Years Eve, New Years Day,Easter, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Additional dog rate: +$7 (per visit)
Puppy visit: $17 (per visit)
-Puppies are considered any dog under 1 year old
Additional cat: +$4
***Please note that these fees are starting out if you are located within a 5 mile radius within my home. If you are located outside of this radius, additional fees will apply***

It's not super often that I get to watch many dogs anymore, BUT when I do, it is such a treat when they are as sweet as Murphy! Murphy is a big boy who is so full of love and gives endless kisses! Thanks Haley for entrusting him in my care!

Hi everyone! As most of you know I have put petsitting on the back burner due to my back surgery in October! I'm happy to say I am recovered from the surgery and happy to help with your petsitting needs at this time!
Some things to know:
At this time my services are geared for all of my feline friends, but I am able to do drop ins that do not exceed 1 drop in a day for dogs! I find this service best for dog owners who are gone long hours for work or are taking a day trip ans their pet needs a potty break! I'm also a Veterinary Assistant and have a lot of experience working with animals! Pictured below is one of my personal cats who was recently hospitalized and fully recovered. 😊

I want to notify all of my clients that I will be putting all petsitting services on hold until further notice. I have a spinal problem I'm currently combatting that will need corrective surgery.

I have loved watching this sweet puppy girl settle into her adoptive home and grow to be the best girl for her family!
I'll miss her excessive kisses and cuddles together! I never expect any kind of gift or thank you from my clients but her parents left me the sweetest Thank You card which included an Amazon gift card! Amazon gift cards are my love language so it was so appreciated 🤣❤️

Baylea is the sweetest 10 month old girl that I have had the pleasure of watching for the past few weeks and I have a few more with her too until the end of the school year! 🙌
The shelter her parents adopted her from said she was a corgi/lab mix. I guessed that there may be a bit of cattle dog in there too?! 🤔🐕

IF YOU FIND A HYPOTHERMIC ANIMAL
1. DO NOT FEED
2. DO NOT SUBMERSE IN WATER
1. DO get out of the weather and inside
2. DO dry off
3. DO talk to
4. DO stroke to stimulate blood flow
GET TO A VET IMMEDIATELY!!!
If you feed a kitten with a temp below 97 you can KILL it!
If you warm them up to fast you can KILL it!
If the animal is frozen to the ground DO NOT PULL IT OFF!
Get LUKE WARM tap water and pour it around and under the animal. that water is warmer than the snow and air and is going to feel like FIRE to that animal's nerve endings. Again you DO NOT want to use hot water. Then Immediately dry the animal off, wrap it in a towel, shirt etc. and get to the nearest vet office.
Steady and slow is rule of thumb. A vet can treat the animal for shock and hypothermia using a series of injections and warm IV fluids and an incubator.
Losing ears, tails, toes or a leg is workable. Damaging internal organs is deadly.
