Charli was spayed today and the surgery went well. Im glad I waited until she was fully developed at 2 years. She will be recovering with lots of couch time and love for the next few weeks.

Quick training tip:. Socialization is a common term used for just about anything that involves taking your dog out. Lets take that a step further ok? Once the pup is a little older I like "Engagement Training". This would be putting the dog in scenarios that have much more stimulation of sound,surface and sight. A 12 week old will enjoy short romps thru a playground,your neighborhood etc. This 11 month old male now rides in elevators,has witnessed fork trucks and has walked on all sorts of surfaces.
This is a gradual process that makes him feel safe and know that I am his loving protector at all times. He looks to me for direction. Building the bond is thee most important thing there is,if you expect a trainable dog. Im the boss and he is happy about that. Remember to keep your goals in line with your dogs developmental stage and have FUN.

Charli adores her new friend "Murphy". He is 11 weeks old. Been pals since their very first meet and greet at Holleigh brook kennel(Murphy's breeder). Now they play off leash freely until exhusted. Best decision I made was to get her a buddy.
