The bus was a big hit!

"Touch" is one of our 7 basic tasks tought to service dogs and one I have my pet dog clients learn as well. It's the basics of getting your dog to fetch or pick things up for you, open and shut doors, do alerts and more. I also use it as part of confidence building. If we're out with a dog and he shys away from an object, I'll lead him up (it may take some time), allow sniffs, then cue Touch. Once he touches he realizes it's not a scary monster. It all starts here....
