Yesterday afternoon there were loads of people walking their dogs around Frampton at 4pm. It was 40degrees in the shade which means the tarmac would have been around 100 degrees. Imagine wearing a fur coat and no shoes in that heat. Dogs die of heatstroke very quickly and get rushed to the vets with burnt paws. Please pass this on to any dog owners.

Please, please, please do not think your dog needs a walk over the next few days unless it’s 5am. The temperature will cause fast heatstroke and the tarmac will be the heat of your hot oven.

Spent a day with lovely Jake this week and managed to fit in a walk with my old girl Nell. Unusual for Nell as she isn't always a fan with other dogs. But she loves Jake.
