These posts become more and more frustrating as we wait for responses and justice.

We’ve just spoken with the DA, while we have some good news, it’s not the news we’ve been patiently waiting for.

We’ve been given the ok to put Ares to rest. This in itself, is a victory as until now, his remains have been held for evidence. Today, we were given the ok to treat him with the honor and respect he deserved.

We are inching our way to . The DA has explained to us the challenges associated with Ares case, but has assured us that things are on the works. As always, until we have specifics- we won’t speak.

Our current goal is to ensure Ares is laid to rest. If you would care to donate to his final chapter, we would be thankful. We will have him cremated and laid to rest in a beautiful place.

A much needed update on Ares case:

We have finally been in touch with the DA and have been advised of where we stand and what will happen next. At this time, we aren’t at liberty to share the timeline or steps. What we can say, is that this case in no way, has been forgotten or will be ignored. While we believe seeking justice for Ares is of the upmost importance, we also understand that his is not the only case being handled in Twiggs County or by the DA.

We will continue to update as we are provided information. As always, we’ll update specifics when they are available to the public.

An update on Ares case:

The initial investigator is no longer with the department. We reached out to the sheriff’s office today to get the name of the new investigator and a case update. We were given the name of the new investigator and referred to the DA for further information. We reached out, received a voicemail and are currently awaiting a return call.

We are a dedicated to as we were in day one. We will not stop until justice has been served.
