Kittens weights with names! All the kittens are named from the Bridgerton series.
Mom's name is Bridgerton.
In yellow is Humboldt: 1.53 lbs
White is Rege: 1.03 lbs
Blue and only girl is Hyacinth: 1.22 lbs
Green is Freddie: 1.25 lbs
Orange is Colin: 1.30 lbs

These 3 volunteered to meowdel for me. They are about 3 weeks old. Today's weights: 0.71 lbs, 0.71 lbs, 0.75 lbs, 0.76 lbs, & 0.93 lbs.

All have their incisors in and 1 kitten even has his canine teeth! Canine teeth appear around 4 weeks of age and are used to defend themselves so you will see kittens at 4 weeks start to play fight.

At about 3 weeks old kittens first teeth start growing in, the incisors. These teeth are used for grooming which is why also at this time kittens will start grooming behavior.

Tidbit Tuesday🐱
The coat pattern of black with orange splotches mix throughout is known as tortoiseshell. Due to genetics needed for this pattern to occur tortoiseshell cats are almost always females with males being rare just like calico cats.

Topical Punch was being a photogenic ham. He enjoys cuddling and getting into trouble/things with his siblings. Him and his siblings are available for adoption through Wood County Humane Society

Fry play while siblings watch

Playing with the ball track. In my experience kittens love these, but cats just are not interested. It is like the feline version of a baby toy.

Current foster kittens. Pictured together the orange one is a male named Fritter with his sister Frosted and the other picture is of their brother Fry. They are about 3-4 months old.

They were placed in my care for being a little bit hand shy when they came into the shelter. I can now pick them all up with no argument (unless they're busy playing).
