Save the Meow Meows is a 501c3 non-profit rescue for cats and kittens in Southern California --primarily rescued from high-kill shelters or as strays.

Our Cat Lounge serves as a central location to save & house & hang out with the cats!

CON-CAT-ULATIONS 🎉🎀💍 Mr. Grey and Mrs. Orange celebrated their love with a wedding reception yesterday.

It was a pawty to remember and there was lots of cuteness and chaos. Mr. Grey slept in and was late getting dressed to his own wedding, and then at some point even slept in a heart shaped bed with different younger orange cat! 😯 A female grey kitty then got into a slap fight with Mrs. Orange at the reception. The DRAMA!

But we are so happy for everyone who was able to attend and make it a special Valentine’s Day memory. We hope you had fun and can enjoy these cute wedding photos.

We will keep their wedding registry up for another week incase you want to send them a wedding gift (link in IG bio!)

I AM KITTEN HEAR ME ROAR 🐈‍⬛ Bartok here was really just doing a cute yawn but this photo was too cute not to share. He even gets cross eyed, silly little baby. Bartok is available for adoption!

We have lots of cuties who are looking for families- come on in to the lounge and you can find your purrfect match same day.

CAT WEDDING CELEBRATION 💍 You are invited to celebrate the love of Ms. Orange and Mr. Grey, our two longest residents at the rescue. They are super bonded and we have been calling them an old married couple, so this Valentine’s Day we will be making it official!

All day long you can look forward to special surprises including all the cats wearing their cutest bow tie collars, free cake, catnip wine, and we will have multiple ceremonies throughout the day. Make sure you sign their wedding card and take lots of cute photos!

We also have a special in-person Valentine fundraiser where you can select a kitty and be their valentine. If you can’t attend in person we have a wedding registry for the happy couple at the link in our IG bio so you can send them a congratulatory gift! 💝

The Floofs are floofin’ 🐾 All five Siamese rescues are at the lounge and ready for adoption! These three are male and there are two other female so it’s a great time to visit the lounge or adopt!

We spent a lot of funds on their vetting to make sure they are ready to go home for future adopters and would love love love if anyone is able to donate towards that big vet bill. We have already spend nearly $3k this month alone on veterinary care 😱

ADOPTABLE KITTENS GALORE AT THE CAT LOUNGE! 🐱I’m so excited to introduce our foster kittens to the lounge. So if you are looking to add the world’s cutest kittens to your family come on in or fill out an application online! Adoption fees are from $200-$300 and cover all of their vetting including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, etc.

For kittens we just ask that they go to homes either in pairs together or if you already have cats at home so they can learn good socialization skills that are vital to young ones 🥰

Introducing THE FLOOFS- available for pre-adoption now! 💜 We were able to rescue 5 of these kitties with mysterious origin from the high-kill Devore shelter. They were in the back labeled feral but they were just scared! 😨 I would be too if I were abandoned, shoved in a metal box and poked at.

We got them all spayed and neutered yesterday (it’s possible they were previously used for breeding) and now they are ready for your adoption application. They have individual profiles on our website where you can read about their personalities but we highly recommend you come meet them in person at the lounge since we are still learning about them. There is one longhair flame point Siamese, three longhair lynx point Siamese and one shorthair lynx point Siamese.

We spent nearly $700 on their vetting already so donations would be HUGELY appreciated for the floofs and to continue this lifesaving work.

MEET LEXI 🐾 She is in need of donations for her spay surgery and vaccines on Sunday. We were able to pull her from the shelter where she was sadly an owner surrender.

We would love to raise $85 before then to help Lexi get adopted and find a true forever home. She is a sweetie who deserves a second chance and we are happy to provide that for her. We hope you can chip in to help her on this journey!

A HAPPY UPDATE! 🐾 The single tiny kitten who was living outside with no mom or siblings around is now getting lots of love and socialization. She is right next to me now putting away and happy as can be! Thank you to those that helped make this happen, we changed the entire trajectory of her life and she will be available for adoption soon.

If you are looking to adopt we will also have lots of certified CUTIE PATOOTIES coming to the lounge next week, so stay tuned for that. Though we always have amazing kitties in need of homes.

ADOPT BINGSU 🍩 She is the most beautiful Maine C**n mix momma cat that I have personally been fostering. She is incredibly sweet and finally spayed! (Hence the cute donut cone).

We rescued her and the whole family from a high-kill shelter and yep, you guess it- they were on the list to be euthanized. We aren’t super sure if she gets along with other cats, she was very protective of her kittens but since we do foster -> adopt, you can slowly test it out if you have other animals.

Bingsu is between 2-3 years old and her adoption fee is just $150 with all her vetting already taken care of. She has a ton of Maine c**n features such as the strong chin, ear tufts and floofy fur & tail. Not to mention her whiskers go on for miles!

DND WITH CATS 🐱🐉
Welcome to our official campaign! Every second Thursday of the month from 4:00-6:00pm will be our session time. Any type of character or race is welcome, we just ask for no evil alignments/“chaotic stupid” types.
Our first session will officially be hosted February 13th 💍 We hope to see you there!

WE 💜 ADOPTIONS! How cute is this photo of Toffee and her new momma!

Right now we have about 30 adorable and adoptable cats at our lounge. I encourage everybody to think about opening up their heart and home to just one more cat. Imagine all the lives we could save 🥹 Save the Meow Meows also does foster to adopt 2 week trial runs so it’s a super low commitment way to see if a specific kitty is right for you.

Come visit us in person at 56925 Yucca Tr, Yucca Valley. Or simply submit an application online and our team will reach out. We try to make adoption as accessible and easy as possible for our homeless furry friends in need.

ITS HAPPENING 💍🐾 Valentine’s Day event at Save the Meow Meows Cat Lounge. All day we will be celebrating the love of the most iconic couple - Ms. Orange and Mr. Grey! And Yes we will be those crazy people who have an actual wedding. 💒

Things you can look forward to upon entrance of the lounge. ($13 adult and $7 kids and open 11AM to 7PM)

-Wedding Cake
-Signing their card
-Taking photos of all 25+ cats dressed up
-Wedding gifts accepted (online registry will be posted soon!)

And don’t forget to congratulate and spend time with the happy couple. We hope that this event will not only show love to the two longest bonded cats at the rescue but hopefully get them expose to be adopted and find a loving home together.

ADOPT TOFFEE 🍬Like her name she is a sweetie! Toffee has it all, she is playful (LOVES a good laser), affectionate and gets along great with other cats. Toffee was recused from the Apple Valley Shelter and I’m shocked she hasn’t been snatched up yet. Help share this pretty girl and find her a home.

To adopt Toffee or any of our kitties simply fill out an application online. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go home same day.

MEET BONNIE 🤍 She and her brother Clyde are 4 month old kittens who are ready to find a home together. They have been in our care with a loving foster since they were teeny tiny bottle babies.

Bonnie is sweet and gives off princess vibes while Clyde is suuuuper playful and silly. The perfect duo! Also we have a billion cats and kitten at the lounge right now (okay like, 30) but that’s still a lot for us some come visit us this week to get your cat therapy.

ADOPT MORTICIA 🖤 She is one of the funniest cats we have ever had both in looks and personality. She is a total foodie and she will let you know it! Morticia has the funniest little alien shaped head and tiny mouth and paws. She is an older gal at 9 years old and was adopted from the Apple Valley shelter as a kitten and sadly returned after all those years.

Luckily she’s found her way to Save the Meow Meows where she is able to live happily until she finds a new family. That could be you! Adopting Morticia would brighten your life and bring you so many laughs.
