ADOPT GREG & KEITH 💙
If you’ve visited our lounge, you’ve met these playful brothers! They like to use their sweet faces to get tons of snacks and make the biggest messes ever as they insist on chomping down on our churus!

Greg has been making amazing progress each day and if he likes your vibe, he will accept some pets (in exchange for a wet treat bribe)

Keith is a bit more apprehensive with new people so he’s looking for a patient household that understands his quirks & menace tendencies 🐱 If he’s not destroying one of the wand toys, he may or may not be bugging another kitty resident …

To meet Greg and Keith (and all our 20+ other available kitties), come by our lounge! Daily socializing is amazing for our kitties even if you can’t adopt! 💗🐾

WHAT IS THE LOUNGE LIKE? Pretty much this! As you walk in, the kitties will start to follow you for treats and playtime. It’s super cute to watch them surround the guests and funny to see them act like they are starving even though they get treats literally alllllll day along with dry and wet food mealtimes.

Save the Meow Meows is a unique experience each time, as the cats are different each week as we have new intakes, and even the time of day can dictate what kind of experience you may have. I definitely recommend coming back to see how the experiences can be so varied.

PRACTICE KINDNESS ALWAYS 🤍 Rescue work is mentally, financially and physically exhausting and I have so much respect for everyone who is helping the overpopulation crisis in animal welfare. However going into this 5 years ago I was warned how much drama and cattiness there may be among rescuers. I was shocked to hear this since we all have the same goal right? To save animals in the best ways possible!

Sadly over the years I have seen this to be true and I just want to spread a reminder that we truly are all on the same team here! Always remember that animals are the #1 priority 👏

There is no juicy drama in particular that this relates to, but just a message of helping one another, being patient, understanding limitations and uplifting animal advocates everywhere. Much love to you all, together we can save the meow meows 🐾

THANK YOU EVERYONE 🩵 We are feeling the love with all the support of the community and online donors who have contributed to the air conditioning issue. We have portable units at the lounge so you can definitely still come on my and interact with the kitties this week. & we hope to have the big unit fixed as soon as possible.

Again just thank you all so much for contributing 🥹. We get by and are able to save meow meows only because of your support. Unlike some other rescues or bigger organizations we don’t have any benefactors or outside funding sources so these donations mean the world to us and really restore my faith in humanity that there are people out there that believe in rescue 🫶

EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER 🆘 Our air conditioning for the lounge has suddenly broke and the repairs will cost nearly $2,000. As a small rescue who gets by month to month this is a devastating amount for us to pay all at once. In the meantime we have fans, will pickup another portable AC tomorrow and are offering free cold water to guests. But this is the worst timing as we are in the desert where temperatures are already reaching over 100 degrees.

PETCO ADOPTION EVENT 🩵🐾 Join us this Sunday June 8th from 12-3PM and check out our adoptable rescue kitties. We do same day adoptions and all cats are already fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, etc. Completely vetted and all ready to go home!

Adoption rates for cats is $150 and kittens under 1 year are $200. You also receive 20% off your entire Petco purchase so you can grab all the supplies needed for your new feline family member.
