Our Family Buisness
We wanted to share with everyone how much joy we get from being able to work from home and be able to do what we love to support our family. It has taken us years to get were we are and a lot of ups and downs and a lot of money has gone into building what we have. Our girls and boys are given the best that we can give them and we provide them with additional nutrients in their water and are feed show bird breeder in the morning and the red hen layer scratch mix with additional oats, herbs and we also cut up some fresh grass and mix it in for them and give them this in the afternoon. They also get a mix of eggs,oats,almond milk and herbs as a treat once in a while.
Each pen get let out separately every day and get to free range until they decide to go back into their pen :-) We are trying to aim at breeding good quality Pekins in the hope of being able to help people that don’t have access to transport to obtain chooks and are able to hatch them instead. Our eggs are been all around Australia with good results :-) . As hard as we try we cant to taken into accountability for incubation and hatch rate but do try and provide as much help and assistance as we can. We are always trying to find new information on how to better our business and the health of our chooks and the eggs especially using the eggspress cartons we have had no breakage so far and hope to keep it that way.
