LOOLLL Cherry is always so dramatic when I cut his nails, it doesnât hurt but he loves to flinch. As if! Lying on his back like a king eating his chicken crisps while I cut his nails like the slave that I am đ
The clip of me hiding a wormie in a Lego is so funny to me, Lily was so fed up with me and I can feel her say âjust GIVE it to meâ hahahaha
Whatâs for dinner?
Ours is

Dinner served in our new glider kitchen! I made one for a customer and decided to make myself a new one as well.
What good is a glider kitchen?
Well, we all know how messy gliders are when they eat. They suck out the nutrients from the things they eat and usually spit out the fibre. So there goes the walls! I have a clear plastic sheet behind my cage for that reason, but a glider kitchen does great to keep the mess contained since it is an enclosed area. For a glider kitchen itâs important that you make sure the holes youâve drilled are free of sharp edges, and that you have at least two holes! This is to make sure that your gliders have multiple escape options in case of a fight. Multiple food stations are also great with food aggressive gliders!
POV: youâre cutting both your nails and your gliderâs nails đ
Finally back to work! That was a long break đ

One of you recommended I tried out BSFL (Black Soldier Fly Larvae). Iâve been feeding my bbs live mealworms from a small breeding farm I have, and while convenient, BSFL has a better nutritional value and Ca:P ratio compared to mealies, so I decided I would give it a try! Lilyâs a savage as usual, but compared to mealworms, Cherry was taken aback by his first BSFL. I read that sometimes youâd need to cut the larvae and let your gliders taste the insides to get them used to it, and thatâs exactly what I did and he gobbled it up! He took to the ones after that with no issues. Wormies are a great source of protein and letting them hunt for live ones is definitely great stimulation. But I donât think I can finish all of these before they turn into flies, so I was told I could dry them out in the sun. Iâd think about having a small BSFL farm but I wonder how that would go? Iâm not sure Iâm keen to have flies and how itâd be possible to contain them unlike the beetles that mealworms turn into, those didnât fly. đ
Note: The darker ones are further along their larvae stage and will pupate soon, they are less active but are said to have higher calcium content!
These are from Doctor Larva Wholesome Feed, you can find live ones on their website and Lazada, and dried ones from a few sellers on Shopee!

Hey gulä friends, I apologize for the lack of engagement lately, I havenât been feeling my best. Hope to reconnect soon!
Here are some photos of cuddle sessions in bed with Lily and Cherry
Weight check and weekly nail trim!
Yay! A few weeks back I was one of the winners of a summer contest on Sugar Glider Guardians. The fleece pouch I won just came in the mail! It took about 3 weeks to arrive from US and Iâm so happy itâs here. I absolutely love the grey! đĽ°
If anything I am a lot like them in the way that theyâre always sleepy in the day but always down to enjoy some food. In the last video Lily decided to groom my neck đ

What a happy boy!!! Enjoying his new bamboo stick and giving the louuudest purrs. Great chewing stimulation for the bbs, great for teeth cleaning too!
Recent pictures of the bbs đą
They slept in their trash can last night and I took the stinky trash out for a manicure đ
Bribed them with chicken jerkies from Sugarbear, Lily is a true savage for it as you can see. Can you hear those happy chirpy noises? When they make those sounds when theyâre eating it means they like it! The thing she spat out was the chicken she chewed, this is normal as they will chew, suck out the nutrients from what theyâre eating and spit out the excess.
P/s: donât mind my DIY finger bandaid đ

NEW TOY! đą
A fun hideout with reset bracelets and and foraging spots for stimulation
Details:
⢠Trashcan hideout measuring 4âx3âx6â with holes drilled on the sides on bottom for ventilation
⢠Mini links on the lid to aid airflow as well as to prevent pinching of sugar glidersâ feet and tails
⢠Charms on chains for sound and touch enrichment
⢠Bracelets hung on the side as a reset toy for sugar gliders to play with and bring back to pouch
⢠Curly straws and mini box to hide food and treats in to stimulate sugar gliders to forage
Note: Each product may have slight variations as they are handmade. Hand wash or soak with water. All toys are made with safety in mind and this includes sanding down any sharp points of the materials used to prevent injury. Do note that zip ties are used in this product. While gulä promotes safe bedding and toys for sugar gliders and commits to making safe products, keep in mind that no toy is 100% safe as you would know your pets best and whether or not they are aggressive chewers. It is recommended to place things they can chew like apple sticks, eucalyptus leaves, cork bark and bamboo sticks around their cage and in their toys and pouches to prevent them from biting into their pouches and toys. I recommend owners to check the wear and tear of all your toys and bedding on a daily basis as part of maintaining and caring for your sugar gliders and their safety.

PLSSSS HOW RUDE. At least wait till the lights are off!!! I was just going to put in your food đł Lily is in heat, and well, letâs just say, just because your boyâs neutered doesnât mean he doesnât still have fun......... đ I took a pic... and a video.. thought it was funny.. but Iâm TRAUMATIZED, theyâre so rough
Honestly this happens almost every month and they go at it the whole night, leaving me unable to sleep due to how loud they are while at it. Itâs my first time seeing it though lol
I lost their nail clippers... I just bought a new one online but that means I have to miss this weekâs cut, look at how long those nails are!! Such a sweet face with killer claws
Look at all these furry aliens with their gulä spaceships! đĽ°
Work in progress! A customer requested for a shorter toy so I split it into two. Other than that we have some new designs I will put up for sale soon.
In the last picture I labelled the two fabrics I use in my products; polar fleece and anti pill fleece. These two are the recommended fabrics for sugar glider bedding as they are tightly woven and do not fray. But they do have some slightly differences! In terms of wear, I find that polar fleece will look less worn compared to anti pill fleece, over time. However, although both are anti pill, the anti pill properties in anti pill fleece is slightly better than polar fleece, and it does feel thicker than polar fleece. I like both as both have their benefits other than being safe, so I just choose whichever that has the prints that I find pleasing!
The best way to care for fleece is to machine wash cold, rubbing with your hands may cause the fabric to pill ever so slightly. Iâve found that washing on normal, quick or delicate settings are best. Make sure to wash with fragrance free detergent so that your sugar gliders wonât stress over an unfamiliar fragrance! Never use softener and hot water as it will ruin the fleeceâs ability to wick moisture so your fleece wonât last long. Last but not least, hang to dry under shade! They donât take long to dry.
New fabric prints!
Spotted a raccoon in a trashcan đŚ
Made some new bedding for them đ
Itâs not dinner time yet but I changed some of their bedding and they played a little. It is positively concluded that Lily the acrobat is a hammock baby and Cherry is the timid trash baby. My phone ran out of space when capturing Cherry run into the trashcan but weâve all seen how cute that is already. đ
Spaceship foragers unite! Now also in blue and pink with customisable pulley choices; pom poms/heart hoops/circle hoops. These are RM60 each (SOLD).
Two new colours for the spaceships! Can anyone sense the panic in my voice? Anxiety tings đ
Anyway, captions for deaf inclusivity đą
We have two new colours. So a bit of details, this is a locking system. This is some 3mm chain. As opposed to this 2mm chain, this (3mm chain) is more weigh bearing, as itâs thicker. Iâve included some buttons and zip ties around the ball. The ball itself is pretty secure, itâs really tight but this is just for longevity and extra security. More 3mm chain to hold this(lower) part. This is a foraging box, Iâve sanded each one(compartments) to make sure itâs not that tight for them to open. So itâs quite loose, just not that loose, still a bit of, yâknow, stimulation. And these are just some straws, some curly straws that you can put treats in. And this is the pulley part, that they can pull back to their pouch and yâknow, have fun. This is the same over here (blue spaceship). Also, just some fleece squares so that yâknow, extra comfort. Yeah. Charms on the sides, for, yâknow, jingle noise!
At this point itâs like Iâm mocking myself while writing this, I caught myself saying âyâknowâ four times! đ
⢠Papaya

Can this be included in the gulä reviews!!! Since the recent lockdown I havenât been able to see my best friend in a while, so I decided to post her a care package! Got her a cute hamster, a bubble fidget toy and a star stress ball to go with her purchase of the pouch handbag in the Zebra fabric. Makes me so happi. đ
Update: SHE SENT ME A CARE PACKAGE TOO đĽş
Spaceships for the gulä bb aliens coming through! In order, 10% done, 70% done, and 95% done!
So thankful for the support and kindness that has found its way into this community.
It takes a bit more effort to get these done but the end result is always so cute and the joy of seeing other gulä bbs enjoy these products is so rewarding! đđđ
This may be rather controversial, but key point here is that we want whatâs best for our sugar gliders, and Sugar Glider Nurture promises to allow discussion and there should be no pride here when discussing the safety of our beloved pets. Iâve wondered for a long time, what is CDF? I still have no proper answer and Iâm all for figuring it out so I can be sure itâs safe to recommend to others. Knowledge is very important when deciding whatâs best. Not slogans of being the best food without proper information on what it is.
Note: I am not in any way undermining the work that has been put into CDF nor am I not allowing others to feed it, as it is your choice and your belief in whatâs right for your suggies. I do not favour international diets over local diets. I just donât buy into slogans and âbenefitsâ, I want information, and Iâm still not getting any substantial information so far.
Drilled and sanded to perfection đ¤
I keep hurting my hands making these, and unfortunately broke one whilst making the hole (on the furthest left).
There are currently four preorders for the spaceship and I have exactly four! I may not be able to get anymore of these balls as supply seems to be scarce. So there are only four available for now, all going to their respective buyers. Iâll update if I can find more balls.
