Lead training at its best!
-loose leads, no pulling, (bullys are strong)
-voice commands in point
-I've even upgraded to 1 hand both leads so the girls can walk together 👌

(being 10mth old pups, we walk 4x 30mins a week to not over do it, gotta look after those joints on fast growing heavy pups💝)

We can hear little Miss Storm over the TV most nights 🤦‍♀️ 🤭 ☺️
Fun fact: American Bullys are designed with a higher tolerance for kids 👌 As you can see here with them both snoozing through our attention seeking 😝
(But keep in mind you should always teach healthy boundaries between kids and dogs, no matter the size, no matter the breed)

As these babies grow I'm adding to their diet to keep them strong and healthy, bigger portion size and chunks. Here's these girls latest meals...
Either a vegie, fruit or sweet potatoe/pumpkin mix to 1 protien (meat)
On average they are growing 1 Kg per wk currently 👊

Loaded up on meat today to make some mean dinners.

We have my stables,
2kg of each-
Lamb: Naturally high energy
Steak: High in protein
Goat: High Energy
Roo: Low fat & cholesterol, High protien
Chicken & Fish

Also 8 chicken carcasses & a bag of bones for those relentless little chewy puppy teeth to keep them busy!

Will make about 3wks worth 😋

Storm meet her cousins in the weekend.
Bruce & a Teny weeny 4 month old mini dachshund 🥰 The pup is the size of Storms head and can easily walk between her legs 😂
She was soooo gentle that we never had to worry about her 30kg puppy body and puppy mind would get over excited or be to rough the little peanut.
Never had to direct her or set boundaries.
She was soooo good!!!!
She just owned the new environment like she's been there dozens of times.
Having giant pups you can take everywhere and they just fit in naturally makes them such a great addition to our family!

I have only taken the pups out individually for their walks to train and desensitise. Today I thought...2 almost 30kg pups, just little old me....let's give it a crack at both! What could possibly go wrong 😂
So I did 🫣
I took them around the block to tire them out a little then headed to the big park down the road where there's BBQs, Kids, other dogs & all these new smells etc and these girls did great 🥰
90% of the time, 2 relaxed leads in 1 hand and MOST of the time the girls heading in the same direction 🙌
I couldn't be prouder.
To have a great temperament already breed in to the pups cuts the training efforts in half 👊

Happy puppies!
I find making them brekky is more of a novelty/treat than a 'complete diet' but it stops them smashing there Royal Canine bickies all day and teaches them some table manners 🥰
Home killed Roo this fortnight, extra tastey!
They sit and wait well until allowed to eat, learnt they can not steal eachother food, so we won't be getting any food aggression in this home.
p.s coffee is a very important part of brekky!
Noone wants to stand around empty handed monitoring 😂

🍻 We had a little bday bash last night 🥳

It was a great tester for the girls to be around a large crowd, unfamiliar faces and kids all ages.
I was curious to see how the pups would respond/behave and I couldn't be more prouder🥰

The calm nature built into these girls just shows how great a family pet they naturally are.
They won't be able to fit on laps for much longer 🥺

While we ate out on the patio they...
-Sat calmly waiting for pats, making sure not to leave anyone out (but not over do it)
-slept at peoples feet
-played amongst the kids out the back, no jumping, NO DRAMA...
They are just NOT your typical puppy!!!

The girls just acted like this was normal life and were not phased, hesitant nor full on.
Safe to say they melted alot of hearts and we were warned a few times that they my get taken home 😂
