If you enjoy drying flowers for crafts and decor, or if the flowers are very special to you, try wise dry or something similar. These peonies are from a start I was able to dig up, which belonged to my grandma 50+ years ago. I have several growing now, and I know how much she'd enjoy knowing that we are still caring for and enjoying many of her flowers. They smell heavenly. ❤️

Hi all!
I've been waiting to set up the driveway stand again until we have at least a few warm and dry days in a row, without crazy wind and storms popping up also. It will be random until things settle a bit. Eventually, I may have fresh bouquets out as well, as the flowers really get going.
Things will be set up at the end of our driveway, and it is a self-serve, honor system. I'll have a cash box out, and a QR code out there as well, in case you don't have exact cash, and want to pay with pay pal. I don't hold plants anymore, but if you want something specifically, you can either pay online and pickup within a day or two, or message me with a general time you'll pick up, and I'll set them out for you.
This is what works best for me, and it seems, for most people.

I have mostly hydrangeas, and keep in mind that they don't start blooming until June and July. Here's some of what's available at the moment:

1 three gallon Silver Dollar Hydrangea $35
3 two gallon P*e Gee Grandiflora Hydrangea $25 ea
3 one gallon P*e Gee Hydrangeas $15
3 one gallon Pink Diamond Hydrangeas $15 ea
2 two gallon Pink Diamond Hydrangeas $25 ea
2 one gallon Limelight Hydrangeas $15 ea
2 two gallon Limelight Hydrangeas $25
6 1 gallon variegated Hostas $7 ea
3 1 gallon Egyptian Walking Onions $8 ea

My boxwood topiaries are taking a snow nap today...it's been unseasonably warm here. I've been sowing seeds, making hardwood cuttings, and gearing up for this growing season, then we get snow and a low of 22 🤦‍♀️😅 Weatherman says we'll be back up to 67 in a few days. Some things are happy inside the greenhouse though.

Here's a great article on using boxes as a w**d barrier. I've done this, and am fixing to lay some down again shortly. We've got quite a collection of boxes from Christmas/winter. 😅
Works great!

This is a great project for your children. Get them involved so they can see first hand how recycling works. Online buying is now bigger than ever and I really don’t see that changing anytime soon. My little shadow, bored, but waiting patiently while I do some planning and seed sorting 😄❤️ It helps pass the days till we can get back out in the garden again.
Are you all doing OK in these crazy cold temperatures? Our furnace/thermostat was acting up this morning. 🤦
I'm so glad that i got more things in the ground before it moved in, and bulbs back in December.
Busting up frozen water in the coops is one of those great daily jobs this time of year, that I never miss!
You all stay warm and safe!

Would you like to be on an email list to receive first notice of what I have available? Accounts are getting hacked more and more, so an email list is one of the best ways to ensure contact. I'm thinking I'll probably just send out one weekly email during the active growing season. Along with my shruɓs, trees and other potted plants, I'm planning to have some fresh flower bouquets this year, and some dried. I'm cooking up ideas for a movable flower stand/cart, that will be pulled out towards the end of the driveway on days when things are available. Easy, no-contact, pay and pickup at your convenience! Potted plants and shrubs can be picked up at the stand also.
To receive those emails, let me know at: [email protected] 🌸🌼💐

New Dawn was Introduced in 1930. This popular favorite is a fast growing climber, with beautiful delicate silvery pink blooms that have a light, fruity fragrance. It reblooms all the way into Fall, so you get a beautiful show all season! New Dawn typically reaches 15 ft, and is the forerunner of the modern perpetual flowering climbers. Petal count of 40, and hardy in the wide range of zones 4-11! The breeder was Dreer.
Winner of many awards, and in 1997 earned the title of world's most beloved rose from the World Convention Rose Society!
New Dawn can take full to part sun, and can grow facing all four directions. She can tolerate colder temps down to zone 4 and also doesn’t mind dappled shade.
Perfect for arches, walls and trellises.

All of my roses are propagated here by me, and are own root, which makes for a much healthier and sustainable rose!

Your new rose, Hydrangea, trees or shrubs may ship in their pots so that the roots don't experience shock, and the pot is securely wrapped so there's no soil spilled. A bamboo stake is inserted in the pot, which is trimmed to box height. This ensures that the plant will stay firmly in place, safe and sound! Give your new plant a drink after unboxing.

When plants ship, they can experience some leaf drop, discoloration, and other signs of shock. Most recover quickly if taken care of. Unwrap and water them as soon as they arrive. Don't leave them sit in the box, wrapping, or leave the box sit in a hot driveway ect. Succulents, especially tender ones, often lose some leaves, That's the nature of succulents, and part of their survival. They don't need or want much water, and pieces that drop usually root and produce brand new plants! Sometimes, larger plants will have to be trimmed to fit in a reasonably sized box. So if your tree, rose or hydrangea ect. has been trimmed, that's why. Plants benefit from pruning, and will flush out even fuller.

**Dormant plants that ship late Fall, Winter and even very early Spring,(other than evergreens) will arrive with little to no foliage. I'm in zone 6, and we do experience cold winters. Keep this in mind if you live in a warmer zone.

If shipped bareroot, soak the roots of your plant in water for 1-2 hours or so to re-hydrate them, then plant or keep roots covered with moist soil in a cold area until you plant. You can also wrap them well in wet newspaper to hold temporarily. Do not let the roots dry out, or bring them indoors where it's warm.

*Reminder: I am unable to ship potted plants to AZ, CA, OR, ID, NM, MT, NY, WY, CO. I can however ship bareroot plants to those areas. Roots will have soil washed off, and the roots will be wrapped in damp paper, then wrapped in plastic.
