It is definitely bitter sweet...
I miss you like crazy..
It's almost a year already since we did your amputation in a desperate attempt to save your life..

December will always be a hard time for us..

I find myself closing my eyes so tight trying my best to remember everything about you...
Your big ears, your long toes...coz I'm scared if I don't, I'll forget...

All I have left are pictures and videos of you but it's just not the same...

I almost hate coming home coz I know you won't be there but I look for you anyway...

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our precious Adyashanti today. 😔

Adji Boy, you fought so hard and made it through so much. We are in absolute awe of your strength and perseverance. No matter what this life threw at you, you bounced back at every turn. We are so proud of you!

You had the sweetest, most gentle soul and we are so grateful to have had such a wonderful boy like you. Thank you for enriching our lives with your unconditional love - nobody gave kisses like you!

There are no words to describe how much we love you and how much we will miss you. We feel like a piece of our hearts went with you today.

Thank you to everyone for your donations towards Adji’s treatment against cancer. Because of you, he was able to have a pain free and happy life with the time he had left.
We are forever grateful to you all for giving us more time with our precious boy!

And finally we would like to thank everyone for all your messages of love through this difficult time. Your support means the absolute world to us and we are lucky to have such wonderful people like you in our lives.

💞 JUST CHECKING IN....

Adyashanti went back to the vet today for a checkup.

His temperature is normal, his heart is sounding strong and his lungs aren't sounding too bad, all things considered.

He is still hanging in there!
Eating well, loving his walks and enjoying the cozy life as he has always done. 🥰

❤ ONE DAY AT A TIME...

Adyashanti was booked for his second chemo session last week Wednesday.
On arrival, we asked the vets to check him out as he had been coughing a bit the night before...

The scans showed a few small nodules in his lungs.
Sadly, the chemotherapy hasnt worked 😔

Adji is still bright & happy and is showing no signs of giving up just yet.
Since amputation, the painful tumour is no longer there to hinder his quality of life & the vets have assured me that he isn't in any pain.

He is back on his raw food which he LOVES - we had to cook all of his food when he was having chemo.
He is on a host of natural supplements & CBD to keep him as healthy as possible.

We are obviously disappointed with the prognosis but will continue to monitor him and make him as comfortable as possible for as long as he allows us to.

For now, our beautiful boy is still here and we will make sure he continues to be loved, cherished and spoilt rotten 😊🥰

Once again, we would like to thank every single person who has supported Adyashanti throughout the past 3 months.

Your graciousness and love has been immeasurable and we are eternally grateful. 🙏

👍AND THE STITCHES ARE OUT! 😊

Our miracle boy had his stitches removed today.
His wound has completely healed 🥳

It will be a while before his fur grows back so we are thinking of maybe getting him a cool t-shirt to wear in the meantime 😋

He is eating well, moving like a ninja and is happy to be on the couch sleeping on his nose! 😆
