My has been with us from the start! She’s my most vocal chicken and alert me about any kind of drama or trouble. She also complains a lot 😂 especially if someone took her spot in the her nesting area haha.

Little chick ASMR. Beautiful Russian orloff pullet. We caved and got 12 chicks after our electric chicken coop door broke (got stuck at closing at night) and a raccoon got in at night sadly diminishing almost all of our flock including our rooster. I was extremely disappointed but life happens and we learn as we go. Our run is too far from the house so it has to be solar powered as there’s no electricity there. I’m looking into other doors now and re enforcing our chicken run. Suggestions welcome. #chickens #chicks #backyardchickens #homestead #homesteadinglife #raisingchickens

We found out on Mother’s Day that our “Floofie” is gonna be a first time Mom! (She went broody!) we are so excited. I loved her little chicken sounds.
