Waggin' Trails Dog Hiking will be hitting the trails on Monday Wednesday and Friday this week. Getting more and more important to book your hike online to secure a spot as the Waggin is filling up quickly.

For you ADD people please hold on to read to the end for 2 quick future questions…

Monday - off to Groton area with Sully, Rocky, Tobin, Bella and Theo. Room for a leashed or unleashed.

Wednesday - Vivie, Tobin, Rocky, Bella, Theo and maybe a newbie for another trip to Groton area

Friday. - local hike w Cooper, Rocky and lots of room for more.

Question 1 - Monday the 14th is Columbus Day. Should I keep it on the calender?? Typically it’s a Boxford area Monday. Send me a text or register…if nobody towards the end of the week signs up, I’ll pull it from schedule.

Question 2 - we are reaching DOGS ALLOWED at the local beaches. Last Fall I did a great trip up to Mount Agamenticius and out to Long Sands in York ME….any interest?? Probably out of the way for my Groton, Pepperell, Chelmsford doggy pals….unless we figure out a meet location. Interest level??? My dogs LOVE the beach

Another reminder…I have work the week of October 21-25 (NO hikes). And…I have trial on the 18th

Welcome to the pack…Bailey and Murray. Excited for their first trip into the chaos we call Waggin Trails hiking. The pack is full tomorrow as Bailey and Murray are joined by Tobin, Rocky and Pepper.

Since, Friday is thus far an empty pack, I’ll likely pull it from the schedule on the assumption that everybody is either not working and/or gone North or South for a long weekend.

Schedule update

Took Friday (4/19) off the schedule (no pre-signups, so I took OT). Next week, hikes on Monday and Wednesday and I pulled Friday from schedule because of work duties.

Great couple hikes this week, I expect great next week too!

The Waggin returns from fun in the sun w a tan face, a horse voice but a proud papa.

Great job to the men and women of Bryant Cheer/Dance/Band but itching to hike so much, the dogs may hit Heartbreak hill…Rosie Ruiz style.

The Waggin gets parked, as we head south to root root root for my favorite Bull Dog and her team to come home National Champs.

Cakes a cooking…happy 1 year B-day for Lady Sansa Queen of North Wilmington! She may still be carrying around her stuffed Eeyore like a puppy but Lady is a lady now

More important…schedule update for Waggin Trails! For the foresable future, the Waggin will be hiking on a steady M, W, F schedule. No more inconsistant wacky schedules.

Also with a consistent schedule if someone said, “I don’t want to look at your schedule, I just want my dog hiked the first Monday of every month…” etc…I can do now do that and/or most other requests

A PSA from Waggin Trails….after a mild winter (is it over??) and lots of rain…these little creatures from hell are alive and well and plentiful in the woods.

Make sure we are using whatever option you choose to keep these little critters from digging in.

Sorry my girl, the “other” damn job will interfere w hikes. Doing a hike tomorrow (Friday) and next Friday (15th). After next week, we will get back to a more regular irregular schedule.

If your pup need exercise, and I know they do, jump aboard tomorrow or next Friday.
