Welcome to the pack…Bailey and Murray. Excited for their first trip into the chaos we call Waggin Trails hiking. The pack is full tomorrow as Bailey and Murray are joined by Tobin, Rocky and Pepper.

Since, Friday is thus far an empty pack, I’ll likely pull it from the schedule on the assumption that everybody is either not working and/or gone North or South for a long weekend.

Schedule update

Took Friday (4/19) off the schedule (no pre-signups, so I took OT). Next week, hikes on Monday and Wednesday and I pulled Friday from schedule because of work duties.

More important…schedule update for Waggin Trails! For the foresable future, the Waggin will be hiking on a steady M, W, F schedule. No more inconsistant wacky schedules.

Also with a consistent schedule if someone said, “I don’t want to look at your schedule, I just want my dog hiked the first Monday of every month…” etc…I can do now do that and/or most other requests

Sorry my girl, the “other” damn job will interfere w hikes. Doing a hike tomorrow (Friday) and next Friday (15th). After next week, we will get back to a more regular irregular schedule.

If your pup need exercise, and I know they do, jump aboard tomorrow or next Friday.

Next week is planned though with space…Monday and Tuesday will be Groton days with Bella, Carley, Juno, and Sully. Wednesday, I’ll wear a uniform and then Thursday and Friday are wide open with plans for Berlin and Harold Parker

Waggin Trails thought we found our leader of the pack as “Lady” Sansa, Queen of North Wilmington has been our fearless scout leader. She leads the crew off leash, to warn of any Wildings on the trail.

All was perfect until she found herself scared, intimidated and backing down from this beast posing as a stump. Fear not, the stump backed down, didn’t move and we carried on.

Today was Day 2 of exploring the Fells, tomorrow a couple of spots open for day 3 of the Fells doing the 7.7 mile Outer Loop.

There once were two sad dogs named Sully and Boone, sad because the parents were vacationing in the sun. But, then their parents signed up for Waggin’ Trails and turned their frowns upside down.

What does every Waggin Trails customer have in common??? They are ALL repeat customers! We need to add NEW dogs to the mix. Next week, have three hikes planned. Tues 12/5 to York, ME, Wed 12/6 to N Andover and Thurs 12/7 to Billerica. Entire schedule is wide open.

Other housekeeping notes....due to my other job, I had to eliminate Dec 8 hike but added a Dec 14 hike to Boxford (you want to join a Boxford hike!)
