(1)

We try to find good loving and caring homes all over the world or even foster homes. We are a non profit rescue. As we don't have a permanent shelter, we currently take care of cats who are still living on the streets by feeding them and having them neutered/spayed. Always looking for homes for these lovely cats. Some are young and some are old but all of them needs homes. We ask that you visit th

e photo gallery and if any cat or cats are what you looking for to add to your family, please contact us. We are located in Qatar for now. There will be some expenses to be paid towards the adoption admin for exporting, RATT test and flight.

We have been struggling to raise the funds needed to settle a rather large vet bill for 3 stray animals in Qatar who needed the medical treatment. To date we have only raised 415 Euros and we are no where near to our goal of 2000.00 Euros.

Please donate and share the link with family and friends and colleagues and help us close this medical bill. Donations can be made via the below link -

The Update on Mandy is that she become a FOSTER FAIL and will be jetting off to Scotland in a few weeks with her human family and other furry siblings.

She will be so surprised to see the green hills of Scotland, the snowy mountains and will re-emerge as a completely different dog once again away from the desert heat that she was born into and has had to endure until she was taken off the streets and into a loving family.

Mandy has asked that donations be made to the following GofundMe account so that others like her have a chance of a better life and to have their medical bills paid.

Hi everyone

I'm in need of your assistance with a fundraiser we have started, via GoFundMe, for the many stray cats and dogs I take care of and some of them have had really urgent emergencies which has in turn left me with huge medical bills at the vet.

Healthy Pet Center, Qatar, have been supportive in treating all these emergency cases and even after giving me a discount for all the treatments and the long hospital stay for one particular dog, Dusty (6 months), there is still a huge amount outstanding.

Sadly and I think like in most countries the vets do charge enormous fees and even with discounts, it's still a huge amount to pay.

I'm asking you all to share this fundraiser as every little bit of donation can help reduce the outstanding amount.

Updates will be posted throughout the fundraiser.

Although Tommy and Tofu have been adopted, Dusty is still the only dog not adopted even though he is fully vaccinated, neutered and gets on with other dogs and cats. Hoping soon someone will fall in love with this sweet boy and adopt him.

Thank you

The worst news has landed in Qatar today...........

The only surviving animal shelter is now forced to move or close it's shelter down permanently.
Land owners are not always willing to give up pieces of land for dumped, abused, abandoned animals.

All help is required to keep this shelter open and hopefully find them a new location soon.

Miracles do happen and we hope it will happen again for this shelter.

The day we have been dreading has finally come. We have to move the shelter to a new location again.

We always knew our current facility was temporary, but we had hoped that we would have our registration completed and a permanent facility organized before having to move. It seems we have run out of time on our current land and we cannot get any more extensions. With no end to the registration process in sight, we are absolutely devastated.

We need your help. Our first priority is the need to secure a new piece of land as soon as possible, and then we will have the absolute mammoth task of relocating as many of our current buildings as we can, and rebuilding those that cannot be moved, like our farm animal buildings.

As we are still not registered, we cannot legally set up fundraisers for financial assistance. We will need to rely on physical donations of manpower, volunteer hours, building materials and services like electrical, plumbing, carpentry and transport.

If we cannot secure a new site and set up, we will have no option but to close the last remaining animal shelter facility in Qatar.

Please network and if anyone owns a piece of suitable land and would be willing to let us move there, please get in touch ASAP.

Hi Everyone
In Morocco there are so many dogs and even cats that don't get enough food to even survive.
Many shelters struggle to raise funds to buy food, medicines or even blankets for the animals they care for.
In particular this shelter is running out of food and every donation of kibble will help them.
Please donate kibble for these dogs.
Kindly note that if the goal is not reached then the shelter receives nothing for the dogs🐶🐶🐶😿😿😿

Please help them by donating

A kibble campaign is being organised to try and save them.

Awesome news everyone ....
We are still celebrating that Jock got adopted into a family that loves dogs.

Jock left hospital and went straight into foster care until he could be adopted.
His foster mom shared his photo with her family back in the Philippines and it wasn't long before her cousin asked to adopt.
With the help of some wonderful people he was able to fly to his forever home.
A lift of an animal rescuer isn't always easy and there are so many dogs and cats looking for homes, some while searching die or get killed or abused and then miracles happens, just like Jock's.

We wish Jock and his new loving family all the best.
We will certainly post another update on him after he has fully settled into life away from dirty streets and construction sites.

Hi everyone

UPDATE: Jock is still in hospital but hopefully he will be released soon then he will go to his foster home.
His wound is healing well and there is no need for him to have surgery.
However, his medical bill is now at QR 1000.00 and we asking for some donations towards it as we maxed out with other cat & dog emergencies and short on funds😞😿
Anyone who is wanting to donate can do so directly to Healthy Vet Center, just mention Jock and his "owner" Gina so that they know it's for him.
Thank you

Sincere apologies for the graphic photo of Jock's injury.

Jock is only 2 - 3 months old.

He is a victim of hit & run. His mother had wandered off with his siblings and left him alone😿

I don't normally do this kind of posting but I really do need your help with this little fellow.

He was sedated and surgical debridement of the wound was performed. He is already awake, eating and drinking by himself.

He is currently staying at the Healthy Pet Center, Wakra and he could do with you kind help towards his medical bill.

Any small contribution would be greatly appreciated.

He is also available for adoption or even fostering once he is released from the hospital as I'm not sure I can take him back to his mom and siblings who live between construction sites.

Thank you.

Hi everyone

Sincere apologies in not posting for a while now but life got busy between work and keeping all our stray kitties and dogs alive and fed.

We have had a few births and even though we are trying to start the TNR program it's not been easy since donations are not forthcoming and our pockets are not deep to cover 20 cats and 40 dogs.

Hopefully by seeing these gorgeous dogs some of you might be interested in adopting or even sponsoring one or two to be spayed/neutered.

Please do contact me for further information.

Our friends are all looking for their forever homes.

They all were born on construction sites and only see cruel people around them except for the kind lady and her friends feeding them and spending time with them.

All are mixed saluki breed, ages range from 2 months to 3/4 years old.

Please help us help them find their family.

We met this little sweet girl and noticed she wasn't very happy with her head having a huge abscess.

We heard of a new veterinary clinic that had just opened in Wakrah, contacted them and then we had to wait to catch this little girl.

After a few days we caught her and off to the vet, where we were met by such friendly staff and doctors who just want to help save lives.

Well....long story short...

Meet Ginger, about 1 or 2 years old. She was so happy to have the abscess cleaned out that she rubbed and danced all around us when after one night in the hospital.

She is looking for a foster home as she needs to heal and gain some weight so please contact us if you can assist.

Sad news to hear.

After 8 years of helping animals find new loving homes, a shelter has to shut it's doors and move
from a place that has been home for so many animals waiting to be adopted.

It would be a amazing if a new property could be donated or provided for them as they have over 250 dogs and
cats to re-home within 3 months.

If you can help please do contact Paws Animals Rescue Qatar

We take care of about 30 dogs and about 25 puppies in an area where there is loads of construction going on, workers accommodation and shops are.

Sadly the living conditions are awful and we try to find homes for all the dogs but people are always wanting a specific breed or size dog and over look these gorgeous mix breed dogs.

Yesterday evening we rescued these 3 puppies because they were suffering, living at a building where previously other dogs were killed and these 3 got covered in tar.

A kind lady helped out by taking the 3 of them, bathing them and finally giving them a place of comfort to sleep all dressed in their best.

All food donations are welcomed, any donation towards medical costs also welcomed.

Adoption or even fostering - please contact us.

Good morning to all kitty lovers😻😻

Sincere apologies that there have been no posts in a long time but all for good reasons.

It has been a little crazy here in Qatar with the cats and dogs looking for their furever families, no matter where in the world that is.

Firstly, our lady from the streets, Callie, due to an injury was in foster care for a few months and final was able to fly out to a wonderful animal sanctuary in the US, where we hope she will meet up with the other furbabies from Qatar that were sent there a few years back.

Rescued a pregnant kitty (didn't know until it was too late😁) and she got adopted by a loving family who has had their patience tested by her as she is feisty at times.

A kitten was rescued and went into foster care but ended up adopting the foster family as he felt with all the love he got, all the good food and even physio for his lame leg and hip issue, best to stay and have 2 furry brothers and a furry sister. Oh yes - my family is the lucky one to have Jesse (kitten's name now).

Sadly our dogs are still struggling to find homes and food donations are not always available. Everyone wants a certain breed dog or a certain size dog and therefore the mix breeds who have so much love to give, are left out on the streets.

We are hoping that families, no matter where in the world they are, will be able to help us in adopting a dog from Qatar as life here is harsh for them on the streets and in this extreme heat during the summer months.

Please take a look at the photos and contact us for further information or make a donation to help feed the cats and dogs or a donation towards their medical bills.

Thank you

About a month ago I was able to collect some much needed dog food for the 40 odd days I take care of with the help of some friends.

One bag will fill a large container and that will last 2 to 3 days, depending on how hungry the dogs are at the 10 feeding stations I have around the area.

6 Water bottles of 4 gallons each are used to fill up the drinking containers twice a day, regardless if it's winter of summer.

Food donations are always welcome 😻😻😻

UPDATE:
Callie has been accepted into a sanctuary in the US and will be travelling soon.
Any assistance in a finance way towards crate and ticket would be greatly appreciated.

Callie is one of my stray kitties I take care of.
Recently she developed a wobbly, off balance walk and even after 5 days at the vet, she is still not better. This week a vet visit to a different doctor.

However, I urgently need a foster home for her. Preferably where she can roam around and not with other cats as she likes to be alone.

My own cats refuse to accept her and she can't spend her life in my bathroom.

If anyone can offer her a foster home while I search for a more permanent home for her.

She acts and plays like a normal cat, eats fine, uses the litter tray fine. Just walking is an issue.

Please contact me if you are able to help.

Thank you

All shelters and even those who try their hardest to help every single animal, it's still very difficult to decide which one needs more help then the other.
It's never easy rescuing a dog or cat but we all try our best.

If there is a way to help by adoption or fostering, try contacting a shelter or a rescuer and give a lending hand.

Thank you

An Open Letter to the Community..

We would like to start by thanking all of our absolutely amazing supporters who have stood by us over the years and enabled us collectively to help tens of thousands of animals. We could not have achieved anything that we have done without you all.

Despite the support from our amazing rescue community, we have reached our saturation point. We are simply overwhelmed with the sheer number of animals who need our help.

Every single week we receive literally hundreds of requests for help. Orphaned kittens. Dogs hit by cars. Abandoned pets. Starving strays. Reports of abuse. We have reached the point where we genuinely no longer know what to say in response.

We are absolutely passionate about animal welfare and rescuing those that need us. But please, please remember that although we willingly dedicate all our free time and energy, we are also just volunteers, trying our best. We make mistakes, we forget to return calls and we are often running late but it’s not because we don’t care, it’s because we care too much.

The hardest decisions we all have to make every single day are which animals to help. We can’t help them all, as much as we would give anything to be able to. When one lucky animal leaves our care we have to choose which animal to save next. It’s these decisions that keep us up at night. When we try to explain that we aren’t in a position to offer help at the moment, it’s not because we don’t want to, it’s just that we physically can’t right now.

We wouldn’t stop doing what we do for anything in the world but we do beg and plead that anyone contacting us - please, please have a thought for how tough it is for us too. We are doing our best.

We understand all your situations and you want to keep your rescue safe. We do too. But please also remember that turning up uninvited or abandoning an animal at our doorsteps causes another set of issues. We all operate emergency waiting lists. If we can’t take them in, please don’t post all over social media that the rescuers won’t help. We really want to, we just can’t.

We may not be able to offer an immediate solution but we will always do our best to guide, advise and offer support. Rescuing an animal is more than just dropping them on a rescuer or shelter. It sometimes literally takes years to find an animal their perfect forever home.

There are no registered animal welfare organisations or official funding opportunities in Qatar yet. Those that exist are volunteer run, we can only achieve what we do thanks to you all.

Over the next few weeks we will be launching a coordinated campaign to raise awareness of the issues animals in Qatar face, give advice on what to do if you find an animal and how you can help the rescue community as a whole. We hope that together, we can all work towards finding long-term, humane solutions to the stray and abandoned animal crisis we are currently facing. And one day, maybe rescuers won’t be needed at all. Wouldn’t that be an amazing day?

We are deeply humbled and grateful for all the support we get from our friends and apologise for not being able to do more,
