Katie Morag decided she would stay at the village recreation ground all day yesterday, including paying a visit to the social club.... Where we had to collect her from yesterday evening.....

I have blanked out names and addresses for security, but as you can see, she has made her self known!

I have had my second call this week to come and collect my lost cat lol

She is not lost... She wanders everywhere around the village, straying upto 2 miles away as I have recently found on one of my collections!

She will take full advantage of your strokes and cuddles and follow you home!

Please do not worry about her not finding her way home around Alderholt. She is well practised I promise!

She is well loved and gets a lot of food and attention at home, she is just very friendly- especially if you have a dog!

Thank you very much to the concerned victims of Katie Morag affections, it is lovely to know there are people concerned for a lost looking cat, this page especially knows how many of our cats go walk abouts!

She is also it seems, preying on the elderly and those with custard creams and a warm lap.....

Thank you to everyone that was concerned over the well being of Katie Morag yesterday.

She is well and following people in the village as usual. Sorry to the dog owner who she was accompanying on their walk this morning. I hope she wasn't a pain!!

Katie Morags Story

K.M turned up in our garden last January. She has taken residence in our BBQ and had make another bed in a sheltered part of our garden. She was very small and quite skinny .

She kept appearing in these places over a two week period before she let me close enough to catch her. I took her to the vets to check for a micro-chip but there was none. She was very dirty and underweight. After posting locally, no one came forward . We suspected that she was part of a feral litter from Drove End.

We decided to have her spayed to stop her reproducing if she didn't decide to stay in our home .

The rest is history! She is very much part of the family and has become quite a character at the school! She is very loving and will stop anyone for a cuddle and a stroke .

If you got this far , well done! It's a bit of an essay !

The picture attached is of her in our garden when she first arrived , very timid and frightened of us. What a change now!
