AKC Reunite, which is the microchip I put in all puppies from Deblyns Poodles sent me the following:
AKC Reunite Lost Pet Reports are 69% Higher On New Years Day!!!
Pets will do anything to flee from the scary sights and sounds of fireworks!
Please make sure your address and contact information is correct! If you have moved or changed your phone number, please update your AKC Reunite information! For all my pups that go to new homes, I am also listed as a backup contact on your microchip. If they can’t get ahold of you, they will call me. Please keep AKC and me updated on your microchips. And keep your dogs inside when the fireworks start. They can really react strongly to the sights and sounds of fireworks.

Remember when your mom told you a watched pot never boils??? She was right. I’m watching like crazy and I know there are a lot of folks waiting to hear news, but I just want to let you know that I have 3 girls and no one is boiling yet…if you know what I mean. They are all in proestrus according to cytology slides I am doing regularly, just to make sure we aren’t getting silent heats and we are not. They will all come in season when the Good Lord says they will. My software program that tells me when to look for it is now not helping me. But it will be any day now and I will advise all at that time. Once they come in season, I will do progesterone tests to know exactly when to breed them…48 hours after ovulation. Progesterone tests will tell us exactly when that will be. So now you are getting excited and waiting patiently and…you are being educated in ways you probably never knew you would. Hang in there everyone who is waiting. Puppies are born 63 days from ovulation. Soon we will all know the rest of the story. Thanks for all your patience!

The plans are finalized for getting Georgie to Oklahoma to be bred to Toby…AND the plans have been finalized for Sage to be bred to Otis. Both should come in season within a couple of days of each other. I HATE waiting…but it is what we must do. We should have some gorgeous puppies on the ground in the New Year…around late February/early March. I can hardly wait!!

I haven’t had any puppies in my house for what seems like ages!! So I need all my happy puppy homes to send pics of your snuggle buns with a note about how you are doing. We won’t have puppies until probably February or early March. My older girls have all been retired and the new girls are now ready to have families. Georgie is first and she is being bred to Toby, a beautiful red boy. But that is still a long time for me. I’m used to having puppies all the time it seems. So let’s see some pictures of your happy poodles from Deblyns Poodles. I can’t wait to see!
