A small sized pup carrier is in progress, however my sewing machines are not cooperating. Next week, I hope to be at full speed again because my wonderful sister sold me her super duper sewing machine. I will be on a steep learning curve and in the process will be doing a lot of sewing to catch up. More updates in the next few weeks.

Now that I have cleared a few things out of my life - like study, I have time to make some dog gear. Over the next month I will be adding dog slings for the little ones that prefer the easy approach to walks, plus several different sizes of dog coats. So keep a look out for some new items becoming available.

Guess who loves his doggy sling. Milo has been very busy visiting Bunnings, local markets and loads of other exciting places. He walks very well on his lead, but his legs are a lot littler than mine and he gets tired. So he now has his own sling. He often falls asleep in it.

I’ve been a bit quiet this month. I have been kept busy with my gang and a litter of foster puppies and mumma, who are all thriving and doing very well. Our tally to be donated to the CFS Foundation is $20. Thankyou to everyone who put in orders. I have decided to extend the donation period until Friday this week. If you are wanting to put in an order let me know and $5 from every order will be donated.

Introductions post. I don’t know about you, but I love sharing pictures of my dogs. This is the post for sharing photos of your pup (or other pets). I will begin, my cat Neelix (full ginger) and foster George (ginger and white), and the pooches, Turbo (white); is a Maltese X Chinese Crested, Milo (tri colour), is a Chihuahua X Maltese and Tinker (tan) is a Jack Russell X Maltese.

I have learnt a few lessons since first opening this page, an updated price list will be posted and pinned to the top of the page, to help cover postage. One of our followers asked if I could make a doggy sling for her small dog, although she loves walking time, those short legs do tire quickly. Some small dogs just can’t keep up with our long legs and need a helping hand during some longer walks. Milo loves going out for walks but he tires when I go on longer walks and often have to carry him some parts of the walk. Now he is only 5 kgs, but trekking up and down hills and on uneven terrain with an extra 5kgs is no easy task. Yesterday Milo trialled (and slept on the job) a smaller version of this sling. Mum and I made some adjustments and think we have come up with the perfect dog carrier. This will be going off to its new owner today, just in time for Christmas.
