Discussing my processes of working through dog reactivity. Both dogs only have minor to medium reactivity but the goal is always to establish neutrality and more focus on the handler/owner 😁

Working on a bit of dog reactivity on this one. We always try to work within a dogs threshold. This essentially means understanding at what point the dog becomes reactive and begin to desentize at that point. In most cases we don't want to move to quick until we determine the root cause.😄

Nonverbal communication is a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. It helps to teach your dog to focus on you and good fun😁

A little morning non-verbal obedience training goes along way! Try to incorporate hand commands or other nonverbal during training session to help your dog to focus.

I've had a few people ask me about the Kangal Sheppard recently. This is due to rise in popularity. Its a wonderful dog for the right person under the right conditions. Most people don't meet the necessary requirements due to size and the nature of this working dog breed. Always research carefully and don't choose a dog solely on looks😁
