What a cool horse! Turf, Synthetic, Dirt, Slop.. It doesn’t matter the surface Nick gets over it!
With a beautiful ride by Inoel Beato, Nick earns his best speed figure and Beyer in over a year. It was a thrilling race, with Justinthenickotime sitting second for most of the way. He then battled down the stretch for a second place finish by merely a head! There’s nothing like watching two gritty athletes dueling down the lane.
Although we missed the winners circle by a small margin, we are happy with a second place finish. Congratulations to 🥳 We are looking forward to building upon this result next time out!
Thank you Chloe for helping us on race day, it’s a team effort!

Good luck to Ron Madden’s Summum Noor in Race 3 at Laurel Park today. We’ll see how this big guy likes the slop!

Justinthenickotime finished out 2021 for us with a great effort at Turfway tonight with a jump up in class. He broke well, tracked inside, moved up the rail around the turn, looked like the winner 1/8th of a mile out, then the closers came outside and he ended up 5th beat less than a length. He nearly matched his highest speed figure since his first start of the year.
Tomorrow, Ron Madden’s Summum Noor makes his 2nd start at Laurel going 7 furlongs on the dirt. Good luck to all connections, and may everyone enjoy a great New Year!

Congratulations to Ron Madden’s, My Boy Paddy on an exciting win in the second race at Penn National last night!
Second win in a row with 5 months in between races, this horse is all heart. Won by a nose right at the wire after coming from the back of the pack.
Thank you to Jhonathon Mendoza for the thrilling ride.
An enormous thank you goes to Ron Madden for not only trusting us with this horse as a young, rowdy two year old, but also trusting our process. Thank you for the patience and believing. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the ❤️💙

Paddy after galloping the wrong way on the the historic 5/8s track behind the Whitney Polo barns! One of the Great amenities that Aiken has to offer. It’s great to use on days we gallop the wrong way. Paddy says the grass over this way isn’t too shabby either 🐷.
