Join me in celebrating the first day of Black History Month! One of the biggest privileges that I have now as a business owner is being able to share exactly what I feel is important to share on my platform. First and foremost, I am in a hugely privileged position being a white woman who was born in America and I am not the person that you should look to during this month. There are already plenty of essential Black-Owned Businesses right here in our community and online that I would like to highlight instead!

*Edit: After listening to a few things today on Black History month, I realized that I should not have used the term BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) in place of just saying black. It is BLACK History Month and in an effort to make my wording more inclusive, I actually made it way too broad for what the focus should really be on this month. Black is not a bad word. Black business owners deserve to be a main highlight and not compiled together with other minorities simply because we want to be more inclusive. Coming up in May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month and you best believe it will be celebrated here too! I just wanted to give that explanation here in case anyone noticed that I changed my wording and was curious why! ❤️
