We hope everyone is having a great long weekend! A quick RRR (Real Raw Reasonable) order reminder. Orders are due today and will arrive July 10th. RRR has offered a free jar of kefir with orders over $115 for this order!

Turkey Beef Bison is a favourite for our pets especially our three Sphynx cats and French bulldogs. It’s a main staple in their diets along with goat milk kefir. I am always so impressed with RRR kefir and how well it works to manage inflammation. Our frenchies no longer have tear stains or chew their paws after 6 weeks of feeding it daily.

Egg update for this week - one very lonely egg was laid over the extreme cold last week so we very sadly do not have any eggs to offer this week. We are working hard to get our hens back to laying again and hope to have some eggs available next week. So everyone cross your fingers for some eggs next week.

We have an insulated coop and a heat run to it from our garage to take the edge off, but still allow for them to safely go outside without a huge temperature shock. We had to keep the coop closed over the extreme cold to keep our hens safe as anything below -30 and we risk losing them so it’s not worth the risk. They have a nice big coop to roam in but the freedom to go outside as they please is something they are used to and when you disrupt their regular routine they get mad and protest by halting egg laying.

We hope everyone is staying warm out there! The dogs are not impressed and potty breaks last about 30 seconds in this cold 🥶. I’ll just be hibernating with my giant lapdog for the next few days until the mild winter returns.

Our egg stock is up to date as of Tuesday. We have a lot of medium eggs available and a few dozen large remaining as well. XL eggs are now sold out. Pick up right from our farm or doorstep deliveries head out next week in Edmonton and area.

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We took some time away from social media over the holidays to spend time with our family and focus on our boys over the break. We had a great holiday spending time with our family and we are excited and hopeful for our 2024 goals and dreams.

We FINALLY have an egg update. The mild winter this year threw our hens off and seemed to drag out their molt for a long time. We have finally got them back to being happy hens and laying consistently so we are ready to make them available to everyone again. Going forward we will only have a limited number of eggs available on the online store to avoid getting behind on our egg waitlist. Every Tuesday at 12pm I will be adding a limited number of eggs to our website for purchase. Keep an eye out tomorrow for eggs. If you are wanting to add eggs on to your upcoming delivery make sure to select pick up at checkout so you don’t get charged an extra delivery fee.

It was a bit of an eventful delivery day today! I was all packed up and ready to hit the road for the first delivery route of the day and well there was a little road block leaving our culdesac.

I had a feeling last night as I watched it downpour rain that the roads would be questionable today. This helped remind me to always check the weather in the winter before scheduling deliveries. I think I was enjoying the lack of snow and was in denial that eventually it would arrive. Thank you for everyone’s patience and understanding today. We were thankfully still able to get our evening deliveries out and all the rest will be going out tomorrow.

Legend is working hard on RRR stock inventory for our restock arriving Nov 17. If it were up to him he would order an absurd amount of goat milk kefir and 6 Protein Power Packs, his favourite! Seriously this guy is like a bottomless pit when it comes to his raw. I swear he would never stop eating if he could lol!

We had a curious moose come to check out what our sheep were having for breakfast. Bucky didn’t let him stay very long or get any closer, a great quality in an LGD as some wildlife can carry diseases harmful to our animals 🐶
