Cash is KING in the market place.. 👑

I copied this from someone else. Very interesting and it really made me stop and think about using cash more often.

I have really never thought of this has anyone else?

💲Please understand what NOT
using cash is doing.

Cash is important. 💸

Why should we pay cash everywhere we can
with banknotes instead of a credit card? 💳

- I have a $50 banknote in my pocket.
Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the bill to pay the barber. The barber will then use the bill for shopping.

After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a $50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made...

- But if I come to a restaurant and pay digitally - Card, and bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around $1.50 and so will the fee $1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the barber etc.....

Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial $50 will remain only $5 😫 and the remaining $45 became the property of the bank 🏦 thanks to all digital transactions and fees.

Small businesses need your help and this is one way to help ourselves too. Pull small draws of cash out at a time and use that instead of tap, credit, etc.

When this is put into perspective, imagine what each retailer is paying on a monthly basis in fees at 3% per transaction through their POS machine.

If they have, for example, $50,000 in sales & 90% are by Card, they are paying $1500 in fees in ONE Month. $18,000 in a year! That comes out of their income every month.

That would go a long way to helping that small business provide for its family!🏦♥️" got this from a good friend

Time for a little springtime gardening...

21/04/2023

🌼💛 “Hello, I'm a dandelion.
A lot of people call me a w**d but I'm a friend and come to help you!

My flowers are the first food for insects after hibernation and unlike most other plants, I have pollen AND nectar, not merely one OR the other! And I am generous with them! 🤪😉
When you see me, remember that I'm the ONLY one who wants and can grow in that particular spot. Because:
Either the soil is too compact / hard / stomped and I want to loosen it for you with my roots.
Or there is too little calcium in the soil - don't worry, I will replenish that for you with the dying of my leaves.
Or the soil is too acidic. But I will also improve that for you if you give me the chance.
Or a mixture of the above reasons, of course. 😊
I'm here because your soil needs my help so best you let me grow without disturbing me! When everything is fixed, I will disappear again, I promise!
Are you trying to remove me prematurely with my root? However meticulous you are, I will return 2x as strong! Just until your soil is improved.
You can even tell by my growth at which stage my help is at. If my leaves are flat on the ground then I'm far from ready but if they all reach up then I'm already a long way on my way.
Something completely different is that I am 1 of the first bloomers in spring so I will announce spring / summer for you.
During the day when it's hot, I open my flowers but in the evening when it cools off I close them again quickly. In fact, if it's not hot enough during the day I won't open them at all!
My flowers are even delicious for you people by the way, did you know? I used to be called ′′honey (or gold) of the poor′′ because my flowers are so sweet in e.g. jam, sauce or salad! The internet is full of recipes - check them out.

But wait until the end of May or later before you start picking and even then, don't pick everything yet! The biodiversity and bees will be very grateful!”

Sign to ban glyphosate: https://toxinfreeusa.org/take-action/ban-glyphosate

It's not just cancer, fatty liver disease, chronic kidney disease and a myriad of other fertility and chronic health harms... Glyphosate was patented by Monsanto as an antibiotic in 2010. So you’re getting a daily dose of it in your GMO and conventional food - no prescription required! Studies show that glyphosate kills good bacteria in the gut - bacteria that is an important part of our immune system. Kill the good stuff and the bad stuff can make you sick, overweight, or BOTH, and lead to chronic disease.

Not only is it sprayed, repeatedly, on Roundup-Ready GMO crops like corn, soy and canola, but it's also heavily used to dry out grains (oats, wheat, etc.), peas, beans, lentils and sunflower crops before harvest, a process called desiccation. Roundup and other glyphosate-based herbicides must be banned. Buy Organic food that is Non-GMO Project Verified to avoid GMOs AND reduce your exposure to toxic synthetic pesticides like Roundup.

(NOTE: Monsanto filed for this patent in 2003, which means the company has known about this for two decades. The patent was finally granted in 2010.)

Beware the new GMO purple tomato, now being pushed out to community gardens and soon to show up on grocery store shelves. There is no requirement to put a GMO label on them because our government has declined to regulate GMOs created with newer, but equally risky, methods of genetic engineering. The GMO tomato was engineered to be higher in anthocyanin, an antioxidant, using genes from snapdragons. No safety testing was required. You and your kids will be the lab rats for a product that's not needed, not wanted, and not proven safe.

The truth is, we already have many varieties of natural, non-GMO purple tomatoes that are high in anthocyanin. So why are they creating unnecessary and unwanted GMO purple tomatoes? Patents and control. These patented tomatoes benefit no one but the developers. BOYCOTT GMO tomatoes and GMO tomato seeds.

If you're looking for tomatoes that are high in anthocyanin, be sure to buy Certified Organic or Biodynamic, Non-GMO Project Verified or heirloom varieties to avoid these unnecessary GMOs.

Spring is 20 days away! 6 Reasons Dandelions Shouldn’t Be Called a W**d: One of the first hints that spring has sprung is the appearance of sunny yellow dandelions throughout the United States. Sadly, this very useful plant has gotten a bad wrap and is disparaged as a “w**d”, eliciting disdain among some gardeners and triggering chemical warfare on lawns across America. But there are many reasons to love and respect these sunny little flowers. We've laid out 6 reasons... the first reason is that dandelions often provide the first food for bees in early spring.

What other uses do you have for dandelions?

What's in your corn? GMOs are engineered with synthetic genes that are not found in nature. GMO Bt toxin corn produces insecticide from inside every cell of the plant that can't be washed off. If that's not enough, Roundup residue is absorbed into the corn and it can't be washed off. To be absolutely certain you're not eating GMOs sprayed with synthetic pesticides, it's best to buy organic. The FDA maintains that GMOs are "substantially equivalent" to real food. What do you think?

Thank an Organic Farmer and support our nonprofit work with our organic t-shirts. https://www.bonfire.com/store/gmo-free-usa

The more we learn about the way our food is produced, the more we appreciate organic farmers. They provide us with clean and healthy food while protecting the environment. When you don't know your farmer, the USDA Organic label (or Certified Biodynamic, which is better than organic) is always best. Organic foods can't be grown from GMO seeds and synthetic pesticides are not allowed in organic agriculture. But for foods with ingredients that are high risk of being GMO such as corn (except popcorn), canola, soy, sugar, potato, apple, summer squash, eggplant and stevia, it's important to look for both the USDA Organic label AND the Non-GMO Project Verified butterfly logo together because there is little testing by organic certifiers for GMO contamination. Contamination may occur due to pollen drift or in shipping, processing and packing. In some rare cases, there has been outright fraud. The Non-GMO Project verification gives us assurance that the food we buy is non-GMO.

It is becoming increasingly important to our health and the health of our planet that we, our children, and our pets eat clean organic food. Thank an Organic Farmer. Wear your t-shirt to the farmers market and show them how much you appreciate their hard work.

Thank you for your support!
