This is an update on a sweet squirrel that I picked up yesterday for Michelle Rice. First of all, I want to thank her and Tye Lombardi for answering every call to ensure squirrels can get the help they need. This baby has a massive head injury. His head looks like a newborn baby’s after being in the birth canal for a longer time. He has no use of his hind legs right now, one of his feet is curved and he isn’t able to move it. He cannot feed himself right now. BUT, he has been on pain meds, syringe feeding with the GoGo Fruits & Veggies mixed with warm water. I have also been giving him Pedialyte via syringe. He has now urinated, thank God! And this little fella will drag his broken body closer to me for his feeding. It always amazes me how these “wild animals@ absolutely KNOW a good person when they meet one! #rukinrunihouse
