Don't forget to check out my other page, Canis Major Assistance Dogs and Obedience LLC ! It's not active at the moment but as I pursue the remainder of my education, it will be updated more and more often. As I mentioned there, our goal is to partner with my alma mater Appalachian State University and provide a service dog program for the northwest Appalachia region (and foothills). It's a passion project of mine and I am so excited to get it up and running in the future.

Often times, the resources needed for disabled people seeking assistance dogs are located in places like Charlotte, Asheville, Raleigh, or Wilmington. As you could probably guess, not every person is able to make those journeys and it can be limiting. I would know! As a disabled person myself who was born and raised in the foothills, we have absolutely nothing here. It's always "go to Charlotte!" And lemme tell ya... Nobody likes i77 😅

Some snaps of our time at FASTCAT the other week! Ted managed to get up to 23 mph, but it was absolutely hot outside so I expected him to be somewhat sluggish 🥵 We are aiming to get in the top 10 at least for the breed! 🤞

Ignore the goofy sit 🤣 He was about to lay down.

Howdy! Figured I might as well start posting on here some more, so here's some fun snow pictures from today starring my main man Teddy! Boy, does he love this weather! Lovely day to sit inside and relax. Not that I'd know, of course, Ted was not a fan of coming inside! 🌨️☃️

So many new likes on here! Thank you so much for following along the beginnings of our journey!! It is super exciting to see so many people already invested and I will not disappoint! 😃

It's quiet around here for now as I impatiently await the announcement from Emerson Dogs that my hopeful first show Golden was conceived 👀 But the waiting doesn't end there, I won't know till after they're born who has the potential. It's a huge waiting game and I absolutely am not a patient human being 🤣 It's a good thing that dogs are only pregnant for about 2 months compared to humans, who are pregnant for like 9 months. I don't think I could wait 9 months...

Thankfully I still have my wonderful Teddy Bear to help me wait! And he is super excited to get into dog sports officially now that he's 2!

Anyways... Stay tuned for updates on the hopeful puppy! 🤞
