Bit of a sad, but also super interesting moment of breeding. We had a couple of day gecko eggs that failed to hatch so I gave them a few extra weeks, unfortunately still nothing so I decided to crack them open and descovered why they failed to Hatch. A pair of conjoined twins poor wee souls.

Found this amazing little male common lizard also known as the viviparous lizard (Lacerta vivipara) whilst out a walk the other day, a first for me, it even let me get quite close for a photo or two before running off. What makes these guys even more amazing is that they give birth to live young instead of laying eggs, they are also able to shed and regrow their tails to evade preditors.
