SPCA of Texas Available Dogs 7/25/24 - People watching is one of Cherry’s favorite activities, and she’s very polite about it. Cherry has done fabulously at our offsite mobile adoption events with literally every person and dog who has crossed her path. Unfortunately, as a result of the overpopulation crisis in Texas, Cherry has been passed up for adoption multiple times. She’s been at the shelter for over a year now, and it’s starting to negatively affect her mental health. To maintain her quality of life, we need to get her adopted or find a foster who can house her until she’s adopted. Chata is social with dogs and people. 6/22/24 SPCA of Texas Cat Transports; last Saturday Lucca was our 6,000th cat to make the trip up North to his new home. This dapper senior survived 6 major surgeries for an anal prolapse and was extremely emaciated when he was found. Due to the determination of his fosters, he was able to make a full recovery.
