We welcomed home Walking K Take a Slice AKA WKR Journey a few weeks ago!
Journey was bred by Walking K Ranch out of their MHT Maddie (bred by Masters Hand Training) and by MISR Chance (bred by Steve Wight/Mill Iron S Ranch).
I had been keeping an eye on Journeys breeder for about the last year, but missed out on their last litter. So when these guys were about four weeks old, I put a deposit down, and then at eight weeks old Journey made her way to California!
Journey is a carrier of CEA through Optimal Selection, but otherwise full panel clear!
Journey also carries for dilute (which I didn’t expect at all!), and long coat!
I plan to pursue primarily agility with her, but we will also enjoy herding, and any other sports she takes to.
I am hopeful for Journeys future in my program, so far she is resilient, confident, showing high toy drive, and good work ethic. She also has an excellent off switch, which can be hard to find in some border collies!
These lines are completely unrelated to any of my current dogs, and her parents pedigrees are posted below!
