Hedgehogs are going to be moving around because of nests being flooded. Hedgehogs get wet in the wild all the time. They don’t all need rescuing.

However if you find a hedgehog in water it can’t escape from or visibly very wobbly, unresponsive or injured or out in the day then they need rescuing.

If you have a hedgehog house please check the bedding is dry, raise a little off the ground and leave some dry cat biscuits in a dish inside and FRESH water outside the house. There is plenty of dirty water around.

This is Ark.

I don’t have much history on this one.

He is another that originally started with Jane (Wellesbourne Centre). On the 28th November he was weighing 425g.

He arrived with me yesterday.

He is being treated for lungworm.

The first 🦔.

This is Kennie.
He was brought in to Jane at Wellesbourne Rescue on 26th October weighing 175g he wasn’t in a good way and needed fluids.
He was also treated for roundworm.
I was able to foster Kennie on 19th November and his weight was at 324g.

Will update weight later when I clean out 🙂 x

Hello, I’ve recently started to help foster hedgehogs that need a bit of help before they can go back into the wild.
