The next Aussie to join our family was Shane. She came to us from Becky & Dave De Leon of Somercrest Aussies. Shane was a really nice girl & finished her ASCA CH with 4 majors & by taking Breed from the classes. Shane was definitely in charge & all the other dogs never pushed her. Shane could be both incredibly serious & incredibly silly…which most people never got to see!

We are forever grateful for the many years of both friendship & mentoring Becky has & continues to give us! 😘

Our foundation dog…
Drew was the best boy we could have ever hoped to share our lives with. He was smart, kind, respectful, & easy. He wasn’t perfect, but he sure made it seem as if he was. Drew was a light in this dim world. Everything we currently own that we bred goes back to him through his son Reed. We are forever grateful to have had him in our lives.

Where it all began is not necessarily where everyone would expect!
Firstly, I was lucky enough to have a red merle dog named Kern in my life during the mid 80’s. He was a great dog with an active life. He was so smart & agile...he was pretty amazing!!!
Secondly, we added a puppy to our house early in 1997. He was a red tri mixed herding breed that brought us to ASCA & all things Aussie. His name was Reese & he is where we pull our kennel name from. He was officially known as:
ATCH Sir Royal Rip Roarin’ Red Reese CD
I will look up all of the titles he earned throughout his life at a later date.
