Today was a bittersweet day. The last of the puppies went home today. This was Gingers last litter. Ginger was our first dachshund and the reason we fell in love with the dachshund breed. She has such a loving and spunky personality. If you had the honor of getting one of her puppies you know what I mean 😊.

Now that she is retired she’ll be soaking up the AC, basking in the sun, chasing squirrels and of course being super loved and spoiled by us.

We made it!!! These pups are troopers! 4 days with no power or water. They are back in the house! Today is 6 weeks for Gingers puppies and 7 weeks for Nutmegs.

Sleepy Saturday afternoon Happy 4 weeks old! They are all growing so well and moving around a lot. They will be moving out of there whelping pool this week and starting on food and water. Have a wonderful weekend!
