Wow! Where does the time go? Back from Florida about 2 months, trying to tolerate the midwest weather and keep on going! The outdoor arena has been installed, new partnerships are forming and yes, there is a show schedule! Stay tuned.

The first group arrived last night, earlier than expected! Had a great day of travel and the horses are tired but happy to be home. The Midwest sun is out today and a day back in their fields is in order. Welcome home Spook, Frizz and RED!

The journey home has begun! First load safely tucked in the layover barn in GA. Long day tomorrow with destination Paddock Hills, Union IL. Safe travels team.

Global is a wrap for team McCarthy. At the CDI level Heather and Spook had some misfires in the changes which kept them out of the Special. Sara and Grizz had solid rides coming in 2nd at the Prix St George and I1. At the national level Penelope and Frizz took a 4th and 2nd in the I1. Congratulations gang! Looking forward to having you all back home safe and sound ❤️

Global Dressage - the CDI horses jogged today. Go team! Penelope is entered in the National show and schooled today.

huge congratulations to Sara and Grizz on achieving their USDF gold medal today; earning their final score of a 65%. This partnership has been together since unbroke to GP! From training level through FEI qualfying and taking top honors at Regional Championships at every level; with continuing success at the USDF Dressage Finals. An amazing team, unrivaled dedication and ambition. Congratulations Sara - we love you!

After a few trials and tribulations at last weekends show at Global, Heather and Spook came out in tip top form to take the win in the Grand Prix with a 68%. Penelope and Frizz stole the PSG with a 69%. Sara and Grizz had some mistakes in their ride but are entered on Sunday to work them out. Found time to properly tailgate at a horse show!

Little Red had stepped up her game in FL. Tonight the riders are enjoying show jumpers under the lights!

Made it safely to the lay over farm well ahead and south of the storm system. Horses had the option to be out or in their stalls - they all stayed out! ❤️
