Equi-Tape® works by interacting with the complex anatomy of a horse’s skin and fascia to achieve therapeutic physiological benefits. When tape is applied to the skin using different techniques and amounts of stretch, the recoil in the tape causes three main phenomena to occur; influence of soft tissue, stimulation of nerves and receptors, and support of musculoskeletal structures. The horse had severe edema from being bitten. The first picture is thermal imaging before the tape was applied, second picture is same spot of the thermal imaging, third picture is the horse licking her lips immediately after application, the fourth picture is thermal imaging immediately after application and the 5th picture is 10 minutes after application.

📸 Infrared Thermal Imaging shows changes in the surface temperature of the body. This can help to pinpoint the site of injury, level of inflammation, stress areas secondary to injury, and the progress of healing. The images can also provide an early step towards veterinary diagnosis. After veterinary attention, the images can help us to monitor the level of recovery. Let me put together a well-constructed report that you can show your vet if necessary.

I love the Bemer and it works great and definitely helps with time but when it comes to actually healing and not maintenance or pre/post performance you cant beat the Magnawave or Pulse Pro Machines. Hands Down!
