Olive is having so much fun at her new home. Her family said “We are definitely enjoying her (except when she “climbs” me haha). She is sweet and cuddly, WILD at times and SO curious; very fun.”

Such a fantastic week with the newest patrol member Otis 💙 He’s a typical farm dog and has adjusted to the “city life”. He loves head scratches, sunbathing, walks, exploring long grass & showing off his tricks. When he’s happy he has a little smile going on too 🐾💙🐾

I will never understand. Hendrix was brought in as a stray then adopted and returned 3 months later because he was too affectionate. WTH?! Seriously this young boy clearly wants a family 💔 I was absolutely heartbroken to leave him at the shelter.

It’s not real. My precious Nora is ready for a new home. I think this is the most difficult & rewarding part of rescue. I’d keep them all but I know V***n will be super happy not to compete with my girl 💕

Public Service Announcement:

PCHS is aware of the Brother’s Market Cat Colony and we are in the process of getting resources and a plan to help with the situation which will include trapping, vetting, and rehoming these cats.

We are in need of:
-Donations for purchasing additional live-traps: Currently we only have one at the shelter and it is in use for trapping stray cats that have been present outside the shelter. We would like to purchase 3 additional traps at $35 a piece= $105
-Anyone looking for barn cats: We would like to rehome these cats to be working farm/outdoor cats once they are vetted in order to get them out of the downtown area. If you are interested in taking in any of these cats please send us an email at [email protected]. You will be responsible for providing shelter, food, and water to any cat taken in.
-Supplies: We need supplies for our live traps: Tuna and old towels are needed. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter any day between 9am-7pm.
-Money for vetting: All trapped cats will be spayed/neutered, provided necessary vaccines, which costs money. Any monetary donation is much appreciated.

This little guy showed up at the right house for a warm night sleep & full belly. Bear wants to be friends but I think (hope) there is a family looking for him/her. We’ll get on that tomorrow after some TLC tonight. 🥰
