🏡 Did you know that thanks to microchipping, more pets are finding their way back home? Microchipped pets have significantly higher chances of reuniting with their families if lost. 🌟

In fact, dogs without microchips were returned to their owners only 21.9% of the time, while microchipped dogs were reunited a whopping 52.2% of the time. Similarly, cats without microchips were reunited only 1.8% of the time, but microchipped cats made it back home 38.5% of the time. 🐶🐈

Our hearts continue to go out to the wildfire survivors of Maui, including our animal friends affected and displaced by the loss of their homes. Please help us continue to spread the word of the need in Maui to help as many pets and animals came out of the fire with severe burn injuries. The donation link to the is in our bio. We hope you’ll consider sharing or giving, even a small amount, to our furry friends across the ocean and their amazing veterinary caregivers.

As of August 17th, an estimated 3,000 pets were missing in Lahaina, per the Maui Humane Society, and they are committing an immense amount of resources to life-saving measures and reunification. Additionally, as of August 26th, the Maui Humane Society has just been allowed to access the Lahaina burn zone to attempt rescue of any live animals.

Funds donated to the Maui Humane Society will allow them to perform lifesaving medical procedures and purchase supplied for families that have lost everything, so they can keep their animals with them.

Your kindness has the power to bring a piece of healing to the resilient spirit of Maui.
