HIT REPORT - Iveagh Foxhounds - 23/11/24
After the storm in the early hours, we didn't think Iveagh would brave coming out, and they didn't until well after 2PM.
They set up camp in Scarva and set off in the direction of the Loughbrickland Road and surrounding areas.
We received a message from SEVERAL upset residents who were rightfully concerned about their animals. Our team bounced out the door.
Due to the violent nature of this hunt, we cannot go on the ground without large numbers present - so we’re very thankful to the local community.
When we first arrived on scene, the hunt's followers were scrambling to keep up. It soon became clear that the hunt were being chased from every bit of land they trespassed on!
We put our drone up in the area and found that they were heading Scarva-bound again, so jumped back in our vehicle and followed on. We discovered them on the Loughbrickland Road once again and spoke to a resident who had only just told them to "get to f***!" - and some even bit off more than they could chew with certain landowners.
The small grouping split off and decided to call it a day. We followed them onto Main Street in Scarva and watched as a little old lady gave them abuse whilst they were loading up! We had some words ourselves! Thank you, you lovely wee darling!
We watched from our drone as they packed up and left. Always watching.
We thank the community of the greater Scarva area for telling these scumbags that they aren't welcome. We are glad to have provided some assistance, although it seems we weren't really needed! Community resistance is the best resistance!
Until next week!
AirFox1 made its maiden flight today.
We can’t wait to deploy this bad boy in the field! 🦊
A massive thank you to all who helped us reach our goal. This piece of kit will prove invaluable to our team. 🐾
Lovely to see foxes in an area that was previously overrun by huntscum.
Thanks to the local farmers for collaborating with our Sabs over the past few years, putting up signage and allowing our own signage to go up also, and also for being proactive in dealing with trespassers - it has really deterred foxhunters, lampers and badger baiters from the area. All setts are still closely monitored.
So wonderful to see the wildlife in this area thriving.

Whilst out checking local setts, our team spotted this beautiful little fox cub out and about, exploring the world. 🧡🦊
South Ulster Hunt Saboteurs joined Northern Ireland says "NO" to Animal Cruelty and other comrades tonight for a demonstration outside of Armagh City Hotel, as they hosted Tynan & Armagh Hunt Ball.

Iveagh Foxhounds - 05/11/22
The Banbridge fox killers had a late start today and we thought they'd called it. On a final hunch, we found their jeeps and trucks abandoned on a gravel layby on a country road near Loughbrickland.
We logged down registrations and made note of the trailers which plates were mismatched. Someone's new jeep sitting without insurance too!
Iveagh and their followers are notoriously violent so Sabs proceeded with caution in tracking their whereabouts.
Using our industrial-sized zip ties, we closed off some gates where we thought they'd come out.
Being low on numbers today, sabbing on foot was not an option considering this hunt has no issue with acting out with cameras rolling and are known for carrying weapons - but we have our binoculars and cameras ready for documenting what's going on.
We got in the vehicle and done wide loops of the general area and thought that they'd disappeared off the face of the Earth but then...
Didn't we only go and drive straight towards them as they were busy trying to get out a gate we'd zip-tied.. Faces like slapped arses😂
The mere sight of us was enough for one hunt supporter who we affectionately know as 'Lippy'
Lippy decided to be the big man and run at our sab vehicle. Kicking at it, trying doors, punching windows and acting like a right fool.
Whilst this was on-going, Lippy's father/carer was seen picking up a metal object from the rear of his car. At this point, safety was our first priority. Hunters on horses ahead purposefully stalled so that we were moving slowly.
Thankfully we have the Stig as our driver who quickly stuck it in reverse and maneuvered around the swarming inbreds that were approaching.
Iveagh Foxhounds have not seen the last of us. The fact our presence sets them off so badly just makes us more eager to ruin their day and prevent them from harming wildlife.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated for us to get our nightvision camera!
We've only tested it at HQ so far and are still getting to grips with it but we will be using this tonight at several known 'hotspots'
We're super excited to put this tool to good use. It'll allow us to see animal abusers from a far, recording evidence and staying at a safe distance and will no doubt be something we use every few nights.
Here's a quick video of Silly Sab and Sniffy Sab having fun in complete darkness. 😅
Please also note; we are still recruiting. All those who we haven't contacted back yet - you'll get a message either tonight or tomorrow with some details. 😁❤️
